worst Vastlecania?
Worst Vastlecania?
That and Simon's Quest, yeah. Not including the 3D titles.
Besides every single 3D title?
CoD was pretty good
Not really it's pretty gud
>Shittiest level design
Yeah no
The music is good. Fuck you.
You posted it.
user but that's not Circle of the Moon.
LoI and CoD were fun
You posted the wrong game but dw....I got you
Nope, Adventure is the worst not counting its remake
Why does everyone seem to dislike CotM? I seem to remember liking it more then
CotM is really good, and definitely far better than Harmony of Dissonance.
It has a good difficulty curve, a rewarding skill system, fun bosses and a lot of secrets, and those are all things missing from HoD
That's worst Castlekino, not worst Vastlecania. There is a difference.
The card system was rewarding but it felt like a damn chore and the bosses were no more "fun" than any other CV game.
I personally thought HoD's simple book system was a lot more fun since it was easier to change on the fly and the final battle was a nice change of pace compared to generic Dracula.
too hard for babbies, why do you think so many people love SotN? because it's piss-easy
unrelated, but CotM has the best Dracs
>Too hard
Once you've beaten one Castlevania game you can beat them all....there is no "too hard"
>Did you enjoy your time trudging through the secret-less, sterile, boring, forgettable castle?
>No? Well maybe you'll like it when we force you to do it a second time, faggot
Because the dash boots are the worst designed piece of shit "upgrade" ever conceived in a videogame.
What I found when I used a hex code to autorun was a very competent, albeit with questionable level design, game underneath. It's a damn shame, the game went from a solid 8/10 to a 3/10 because of one inexcusably bad mechanic that has no business existing in a game of such genre.
it's clear you've never played CotM, it's way harder than any other Metroid-like Castlevania game, and don't get me started on the harder Classic Castlevanias, specially 3
this is the first time anyone even brings that up, but I agree with you, they should just have made it a toggle
It's the same tired old shit I get as rebuttals to it every time I mention it as well, ranging from "git gud" to "it's really not that bad you crybaby", but no one seems to look past the surface of the bitching and analyze why it's a terrible, useless mechanic.
First off, you get the stupid things like 5 minutes into the game. This wouldn't be a problem if it was well designed. Why?
Second, once you're able to run, there is never a reason to stop running. It adds nothing to the gameplay, it's just pointless tedium for the sake of being tedious. It's a waste of inputs. Even HoT which everyone always bitches about has dashing with the shoulder buttons, which is easily a thousandfold better than double tapping for the PRIVILEGE of not moving at the speed of a slug.
It's really the combination of both these facts that piss me off about the entire thing. The mechanic is pointless, annoying and useless, because there doesn't exist a situation where you'd rather walk than run. The game is solid, but the dashing is a travesty to it.
