Even after playing P4, I thought P3 was inferior. What is so fucking good about it? Story might've been better and the final boss fight is one of the most memorable but as an overall experience pretty it was alright. Its better than most games but the best of 3-5? Nah.

Didn't say any of them were particularly great, but considering Persona 5 romance is so barebones, you can definitely find better ones in VNs.

Not trying to be a contrarian, but I really don't understand the Persona 5 hype. I really liked it until after Madarame's Palace, then went between alright and annoying until the end of the game where it became interesting again. Just like Persona 3 and 4.

Not that guy, but it's my favorite Persona. I played through the games for the first time last year starting with the first one (Japanese PSX version for the music). If I didn't play it on an emulator where I had a turbo function I'm sure the battles would have pissed me off more than they did, so that helped, but overall there's just something about the first game I enjoy more than the others, even if the characters and plot in Persona 2 were better.

At least Makoto isn't wearing much and Ann's outfit is simple and should be easy to clean. Going into an orgy like a 17th century swordsman just seems like more hassle than it's worth

I have to agree. I'm playing through the game now and it just feels horrendously drab.

Rivers is actually not on my list of favorite tracks. My only big complaint with P5's soundtrack is only rain would cause the music in town to change. No like seasonal music, no change as time went along. Just the same 3 tracks.

I miss the days when SMT fans didn't have shitty taste. It really sucks because the series made it one game into the transition back to nintendo before going to shit.
