Rocket League isn't a PS4 exclusive or anything, but definitely pick that up if you've never played it.

Dead Rising 1 is $8 right now, buy it before the sale ends tomorrow and you get buttfucked.
Duke Nukem 3D for $6 would be a good deal except Randy Pitchford spray-painted his grill all over the game and fucked it up.
Persona 5, King of Fighters XIV, Street Fighter V, and Tales of Berseria are really good in terms of "exclusives". Gravity Rush 1 is excellent and 2 is just good.

The Waiting game
To be honest familia, BB is not that great if you're not braindead and already played other souls without using a shield. It's very streamlined for no reason, the bosses are meh outside of the DLC and it shouldn't have had levels at all. If you've never touched a Souls or never tried rolling instead of using you shield it's going to be a fresh and interesting experience though.

I'm not that fond of Nioh. And didn't touch HZD yet, but if you've played zelda you pretty much ruined your future open world experiences.

Would recommend P5, Sonic Mania, Puyo Puyo Tetris, FF12 TZA, helldivers. Everything else is pretty much a meme if you have a decent computer.

I played 2 first because it was gifted to me and I didn't know if it'd be good so I didn't want to buy the first one.
Realistically there's pretty much nothing in 1 that's necessary to know to play 2, outside of "hey remember this character you saw for 5 seconds in 1? They're here again."

I can't say I loved the first one, it's pretty much style over substance with a nice gravity gimmick. Gameplay wise it's bearable but not great and I really don't like how the camera works. As soon as you touch the right joystick, everything becomes blurry.

Demon gaze was garbage next to EO and Dungeon Travelers 2 though. Experience Inc has a real problem with balancing their games. Bosses healing themselves fully every 3 turns is not okay. A real boss should last for 12/15 turns, and not die 3 turns in or wreck your shit because of a stupid RNG factor.

I like Gravity Rush but it's the kind of game that supplements the reason you're getting a console rather than the kind of game you get a console for. It's fun, I got a Vita for the first game and was happy with that and played the second on a friends PS4, but I skipped this gen and I'm VERY glad about that.
