Here is the great irony of the whole reddit-spacing thing. It's actually Sup Forums spacing. It predates reddit and was used on Sup Forums first. You guys are literally too young to actually know this and the userbase has grown quite rapidly during your time, enough to drown out old memes. Your generation is not actually conscious. You confused the Switch with the Wii U. The Switch is an upgrade over the Wii U, and the Wii U's hardware was already better than the PS3 and 360's hardware.

I dunno, if we're talking extremes, I'd rather play a game at 240p with 144 fps than a game at 15 FPS at 4k.
If we're in the middle, like 1080p at 144 or 4k at 60, that's tougher.
Games look more visually appealing when devs tailor them to specific hardware instead of just using higher powered hardware. Console specs mean very little in the current generation as improvements they grant to graphics by increasing from the last gen are almost unnoticeable. What makes games look good are artists, not engineers.

There have been countless strategy videogames made that require more intellectual skill then chess. Competitive pokemon is one of them.
The Evil Within was a good game. It wasn't casual trash where you could just run and gun everything, and was unsympathetic to player stupidity. Its story wasn't confusing if you actually bothered to read the logs and notes. It had good, traditional boss battles. Very neat environments. Tense atmosphere. And all around good experience from start to finish. It was the true sequel to Re4 and it was an improvement.
Too bad the camera made the entire game un playable.

This isn't a fact. In portable mode the switch isn't much more powerful than the last gen consoles, that's true. Also in terms of power, it's closer to those consoles than the current generation consoles. In terms of featureset, however, it is the same or better than the current generation consoles. Combined this places it somewhere in the middle.
This is a fact that triggers Sony fans though. The switch in portable mode is objectively more powerful than the Sony PlayStation 3.

I still don't get why people think RE6 is good, the only good parts were the first 2 Leon chapters.
SSB Melee is the most complex game in the series while also being very accessible and can be played at a wider varying skill level than any other game in the series.
Not only that but it has the last good break the targets, and non easymode Home run contest. It is objectively the best game in the series because it caters to no one directly, and is accessible to anyone.
Because of its open ended control style, and non limited movement that isn't restricted to a simple 1 directional back and forth style, and because of the freedom of moves you can throw out it is potentially infinitely deeper than traditional fighters.
