Esports is a fast growing branch and csgo in the big three of it. Also csgo has the most viewed esport tournaments in west and it got released recently in China... There is no game that is close enough to replace it. It didnt die for 18 years and it surely wont die now. Sup Forums will still be butthurt because they are bunch of oldfags who cry about muh half life masterpiece so they will hate csgo forever cuz of muh microtransactions that have no impact on the gameplay.

The maps are pretty and the game has potential. I'm sure it's a blast if you can look past the flaws (inaccuracy, pistols, movement) and have a group of 5 to play. Don't expect a competitive experience without a stack and don't think the devs are going to fix anything gameplay wise.

its a nice game if you want to play really competitive you can buy esea or faceit and play there if you are casual play mm and if you dont care about competitive there are shitton of fun mods on community servers like zombie escape, surf, bhop, kz, hide n seek etc...
