I feel bad for Grant, he probably feels embarassed having to hang out with the creative director guy.
Cooper Hernandez
they're best friends, you retarded shitposter
Sebastian Thomas
What is this game? So I have to use the rabbids or can I make my entire team original cast? Is it in-depth or stupid simple gameplay?
Mason Campbell
From what I hear, it's surprisingly fleshed-out TRPG gameplay for such a silly premise.
Wyatt Watson
It's X-Com with Nintendo and Rabbids. If you like X-Com you'll like it.
Jaxon Thomas
it's not simple, that's for sure
Brody King
>a dev cried, so now you have to like this game
Jaxson Price
Does it have same mechanic to have different character builds, to give different abilities and weapons? Does it allow flanking and height based positioning? Does it have dice roll based attacks?
Carson Roberts
it's so gorgeous
Nolan Adams
It's a more simpler X-COM that still has some good depth
Luis Gomez
Yes. Yes. No.
Cameron Lewis
Anything else i should get? SM3DW? I don't even know if the switch is compatible with WiiU games
Jackson Ortiz
There's an interview where they act as if they've been friends since childhood.
It's modern X-Com for babies. And modern X-Com is already extremely dumbed down.
Jaxon Hall
Does it have building destruction? Base building and equipment upgrades? Do I have option to research or expand team? Outside of having grids and being turnbased, hownis it like XCOM?
Aiden Lee
It's not.
Cameron Hill
Every character has a skill tree and special abilities. There are also a huge number of weapons that do different things like freeze, push, or honey enemies. Attacks can never miss, but do have a chance to hit cover if you don't flank. I think higher elevation causes extra damage.
Joseph Harris
pretty good
Kevin Allen
Sounds good.
Easton Taylor
It has destruction, no idea of base building and fairly sure it has equipment upgrades. Being like Xcom doesn't mean (or have to mean) it's a 100% clone. It's similar.
Joseph Carter
I like how whenever I listen to Grant Kirkhope's music, I instantly say "Yup, that's Kirkhope" even without anyone telling me so.
Jonathan James
Same. I don't know exactly what it is though. Maybe he tends to have sort of funky tunes, a bit more use of brass instruments perhaps.
Dominic Stewart
Does it have replayability or each mission plays the same if you were to replay it?
Ryder Gonzalez
>it takes place in New fucking York >when I'm a pastafag like Soliani It would be quicker to just go to Ubisoft Milan's building and try to meet him whenever.
Sebastian Mitchell
Will they port it to PC?
Landon Rodriguez
Nintendo wont allow it.
William Mitchell
I hope Ubi convinces them.
Ryan Perez
Nintendo doesn't give a fuck about any place in the US except New York and LA.
>That Jungle Japes bit unf, it's Army Dillo all over again.
Cooper Walker
>that feel when a Rabbids game will have the best soundtrack of 2017
Sebastian Allen
please tell me why any company to shill to Sup Forums of all places. The most you will win over is a very selective minority, it ain't worth shit.
Nicholas Sanders
Nice water
Liam Gray
because it's not about converting into sales it's about awareness and there are literally tens of thousands of people on Sup Forums
Lucas Martinez
>The best ost of the year is a dispute between fucking miitopia and goddammit rabbids What the actual fuck
Gavin Jenkins
And how do you sell the game?
Adrian Adams
through other marketing ventures not all marketing is made to convert a view into a sale dingus
Michael Gomez
Nintendo's had a very strong showing for OST's this year. >ARMS has a couple great tracks >Splatoon 2 had the same heavy focus on its soundtrack like the first >Mario & Rabbids >Miitopia >90% of the internet fell in love with Jump Up, Superstar! >If Pokken DX is anything like the first it should have a lot of great tracks too.
I can't really think of another contender in OST's except for Heinz: Automato.
Jacob Cox
But this doesn't get reported to the media
Ryan Sullivan
>If you like X-Com you'll like it.
That's a load of BS, the things that actually make X-COM enjoyable aren't there. There's no perma-death (obviously), there's no geoscape or base building of any kind, etc. It only copies some mechanics from nu-XCOM. The only progression is skill trees.
David Cook
Pokken DX just has all of the same music from the first, which isn't a problem since it's music is fucking godlike.
Oddly, the one recent Nintendo game that doesn't have a perfect soundtrack is Zelda BoTW, which does have some great songs, but just not enough music in general. Odd since Zelda usually has a amazing soundtrack.
It has good depth, and the story is something you would see in a Paper Mario/Mario & Luigi series. Final boss is even Safer Sephiroth Bowser.
Brody Allen
I feel like the Deluxe version gives what Pokken needed more of in the first place, variety. 5 new characters and some new modes is all it needed for me.
Ryder Watson
>fighting as pika libre against a braixen furfag in online >they activate burst >uses burst move >stun her before it hits >suplex and win the match >furfag ragequits the moment the suplex animation ends
Whenever I played this game online it was always fucking Braixen players that rage quited. Fucking furfags, get suplexed by superior Pokken girl.
Jonathan Baker
so, will we actually be able to discuss DX on Sup Forums or will it just be spammed with "don't you mean XD" type of shit?
Isaiah Ramirez
>tfw a Youtuber I follow is playing a bit of a review copy on stream >looks legitimately good in the way of gameplay and music >has a legit funny joke after the DK Rabbid boss >but then it devolves into the Peach Rabbid selfie schtick If this game was anything but a Rabbid crossover or minions, don't pull that monkey paw bullshit I'd buy it instantly
David Phillips
Just say Pokken Deluxe.
Nicholas Russell
Jesus user, calm down. I don't think that whole schtick sticks around for much longer.
