I don't understand why this is always true, but it is. My previous laptop that was 1366x768 had its hard drive give out and it was a fucking WD Black.

my pc cost a bit over 2k and i use a 1360x768 monitor. does this trigger you?

m8 laptop hard drives die because you're always moving the thing around and that kills hard drives.

Desktop drives have a long-ass lifespan because your tower is just there and not moving.
Just get an SSD and never worry about bouncing your laptop as much as you like.
