Don't bother. Half the games don't even work right. You have to tweak each game just to get them to work. Some only work on burned discs, others only work over samba and the rest via hdd. It's a crap shoot of switching different versions of opl for each individual games with a billion different settings from barely functioning forums. Fuck the ps2 homebrew scene.

The Baten Kaitos games are actually pretty neat, but I have a soft spot for the whole floating island aesthetic; Crystal Chronicles is alright by yourself but ten times better playing with friends; While I really enjoyed Symphonia when I was a teenager I haven't played it since so I don't know how well it holds up, plus it got ported to the ps2/3 nullifying its exclusive status

CC was trash and Baten looked generic, I'll give it a try though.

I am emulating GT4 on my toaster laptop just fine. Its all down to fine-tuning the emulator and dedicating enough time to a-b test the speedhacks.

Softmodding a PS2 is piss easy and the compatibility for OPL (the program that runs PS2 games from a hard drive installed in the console with drastically reduced load times) is like 95%.

It's still an open bug in the latest versions of PCSX2.
The way to fix it, like all of PCSX2's countless graphical bugs, is to use the software renderer.
Which eliminates the point of using an emulator since you're getting the same experience as the original console, except now you have to pay out the ass for a titan CPU.
