ristar had a music themed planet. sonic advance 2 had a music themed zone. i do agree more games should do it though. there's still creativity to had with the concept.

Returns has the same level design. Not having a game breaking power up makes it a little stronger though. The waggle is still in Freeze, but it's optional this time.
Other than not having to blow on flowers in Freeze, they're identical.
