Mount and Blade Warband is the greatest game of our time

I'm 20 years old and have been playing games for as long as I can remember. There is no game as good as this game. I always get bored of games, but this game never gets old. I'm 500 hours in and it only gets better. This is truly the greatest game of all time, and I cannot fucking wait for bannerlord

bumping your thread OP because i just saw it in the catalogue.

can't wait for bannerlord. any time now.

>I'm 20 years old and have been playing games for as long as I can remember.

lmao. I was playing games before your parents even knew each other
M&B is great, but not better than AoE2 or Super Mario Bros 3

>Super Mario Bros 3

It might not be more historically relevant or influential, but Warband absolutely is the better game

>games

I'm 100 hours into the game and it's just become a boring grind for troops. Any suggestions on how to make the game less boring?

>Warband absolutely is the better game
Warband has many flaws, like the shitty missions or the dumb AI
SMB3 is flawless

>I'm 20 years old
Jesus Christ. The absolute state of Sup Forums. Kid, you don't know shit about video games. Take a hike.

Why doesn't Sup Forums ever talk about pic related ? Isn't basically Warband with a better setting?

But otherwise worse. Takes much of the charm away.

>I'm 20 years old
fucking youngfags

I play the shit out of warband but i think that bannerlord might turn to shit.

They are obviously waiting to finish the game before release and avoiding the EA crowd. Which is smart since the mod community is hungry for more mount and blade. But the more gameplay i see the more its starting to look casualized and like it will need a higher end system.

Personally I only enjoyed multiplayer in it

Bugged to hell. shame really, as its quite a cool setting.

I started playing one of the early builds of mount and blade circa 2006

I still play it and it has never been absent from any of the computers I've had since

Crank up your's and your hero companion's trainer skill as high as you can. You'll get top tier troops of any faction just by resting in a town for a few nights.

>Gameplay looks more casualized
Aside from having a more functional army control, what in the world is any different?

If you're past your 20s and you're still on Sup Forums you should unironically kill yourself

i want to play this

Sure, kid. Sure.

I just want a full fledged Napoleonic Wars game. Good thing the Multiplayer is still very active.

>Im 20

Stopped reading, and I'm 24.

>gun powder trading simulator

I like it but it's not as good as warband.
My main gripe is that gaining money feels very separate from winning battles and earning renown and a lot of money is needed up front to really get into war campaigns and if you don't secure a town soon enough you're back on the trade wagon to get cash to raise troops.

That and I don't like the difficultly in getting the troops I actually want in sufficient numbers and the low exp gains, low money from killen guys, and often not enough bandits to skill up enough.

Like I'll have 100K from trading and not have 150 weapon skills yet.

DESU a lot of warband total conversion mods have these same issues too so warband stands out for having such a well balanced gameplay.

>500 hours
No wonder you didn't get bored yet. ONLY 500 hours? I played dota for around 4k hours before getting bored.

Literally how
