The one from SOF2 is also noice.

I always stuck to the shotgun or SMG in F.E.A.R because the incredibly short loop on the gun shot sound effects for the assault rifle drove me insane. Plus the pellet spread in slo-mo was always cool.

I don't know why but Quake's shotgun is really satisfying to me
it really shouldn't be, nothing about it seems all that great. I think it might be the range

What about some unsatisfying shotguns?

All of the shotguns in the Battlefield: Bad Company series were extremely solid

prey 2017 had a really nice one that could be made over powered by the end.

Step aside boys

The one we can use in the beginning of Wolfenstein TNO is pretty crap imo. Sounds and feels so unsatisfying.

>Reloads with only 1 shell used
>Ejects both

What are some games that don't do this? All I can think off the top of my head is STALKER

CoD: WaW

There is LITERALLY no shotgun better then the Blood shotgun, you CANNOT prove me wrong.

...

I won't, don't worry

youtube.com/watch?v=uUzcDugbiDI

pssh nothing personnal kid

So Sup Forums, why don't you own a shotgun irl? In the US, pump guns can go for $250-$300 which is short change for a quality and functional firearm.

...

Mid range sniper

the blood FX looks like shit

*kicks you in the head*

...

is the spas-12 the most overused shotgun in gaming

underhell's shotguns were pure sex

What games realistically portray shotguns, i.e. the pellets actually go out further than five feet?

Magnum Ammo was a meme on shotguns. Dunno why everyone slapped it on anyway.

>tfw chapter 2 never

my nigga

see

I do. Only scattergat I have is a Benelli M2 Tactical. Paid $1000 for it but was definitely worth it for dat Benelli workmanship and reliability

Insurgency

Black
youtu.be/BsdqRCFItUg?t=3

this ugly piece of shit is practically on par with the sniper rifle

Beat me to it

Goddamn I fucking loved that gun in mw2

I don't get why people think FEAR shotgun is good

It has shit sound design and shit animations that barely move

UH: Chapter 1 has some of the best shotguns, ever.

no you don't understand it's going to happen, mxthe was just working on Day of Infamy and now that it's finished he can finish working on Insurgency: Sandstorm and then he has to port the prologue and chapter 1 over to a new engine and THEN he'll be able to finish chapter 2
rip in piece underhell

Always wondered why the SPAS-12 is only shown as a pump-action 90% of the time. Only two games I can think of off the top of my head where they were semi-auto was Cod: Black Ops and Battlefield Hardline.

And I don't think there's ever been a game where you could switch the SPAS-12 between pump-action and semi-auto

half-life 2 had a pretty fun shotgun

Shit was OP as fuck and had the range of a sniper

because unless the game as different shotgun shell types that you can easily switch from in game without a loadout screen and isn't fallout new vegas there isn't a reason to allow switching firemodes

What are some games with train levels? They are literally never bad.
>Uncharted 2
>Payday 2

>that one campaign level where you get dragon fire shells
Spas-12s are always fucking great in games but this one has to be one of my favorites

what game?

I don't like the noise it makes when you shoot it and reload it, it sounds fake and plasticky.

I loved NV for all the lever rifles.

...

filename you stupid nigger

>shotgun

Far Cry 2 has a semi-auto Spas.

That isn't a shotgun

what game?

step aside boys

check file name

It was pretty shit though

GoldenEye

...

Name ONE vidya Spas 12 that sucks

just tell me the game pls thx :)

...

the shotgun in cs:s used to be so good. you could jump in the air spin around and shoot accurately. they nerfed it a few years ago. i don't think a headshot even kills anymore. they nerfed the m249 too for some reason.

well since you asked: _Nope_

dat final dynamite tho

that gun is not so bad.

the other shotgun in the other hand feels really unsatisfying simply because most enemies require more than one shot to kill

fuck off bruce

It wouldn't be a SPAS 12 if it sucked.

>filename you stupid nigger
never heard of it. google gives nothing

fuck you bruce

I HATED that gun in MW3. It was a fucking noob cannon.

It's called Myoglobin.

Modern Warfare 3's

were you dropped on your head

that's not a shotgun.

i also just watched a video about the gun and it had a pretty cool concept for the time.

it gun that shot though?

Lost planet 2 and timesplitters come to mind

what game is that?

stop being so underaged

Fuck that's intense to watch.

I love webms of this game. Someday I might even play it.

game?

I doubt it. I recently used it in that horde MW3 had and it carried me up to wave 39. Pretty much useful on anything that wasn't a helicopter and even then if they flew too close they'd get fucked.

>underaged
Says that retard who can't tell he's already taken the bait

...

I have this game but I still havent played it, should I? does the game run perfectly or do I need to look up some fixes?

quake 2's super shotgun
youtube.com/watch?v=HXoErp2SE-w

this thing is so fucking juicy. you can almost chew on that sound effect.

now watch it again except this time with the music that plays during the horde attacks
youtube.com/watch?v=fjaM7NqiTKU

I believe that's SOF 1. But both SOF 1 and 2 have terrific shotguns.

...

>should I?
Hell yes.

>does the game run perfectly or do I need to look up some fixes?
you need to learn to use DosBox, or dig out some Win98 PC.

Or wait a couple years and hope BLOOD EX project is finished and good.

>Fucking great shotgun
>In a game where shotguns are secondary weapons
The SPAS-12 is awesome in practically every game it's in.

blood's shotgun is pretty fresh

game?

Also the automatic shotgun and sawn-off in TLAD.
>Mission where you need to scare a guy in a Turismo
>Drive up to him on my bike and fire a shell at his car
>Mission failed! You weren't supposed to destroy his car!
>Wut
>A second later, it lights on fire

What game is it?

...

Undertale

I think Crysis. You could toggle between a tight or wide spread, and I think I remember the tight spread having pretty good range.

My wife actually just got me a Mossberg 500 for my birthday. Pretty pumped to get to use it. Got some birdshot to practice with, and some buckshot for home defense. Plus some slugs just to have.

literally any Warframe shotgun.
