WHY THE FUCK ARE THERE SO MANY DAYS IN A ROW WITH MANDATORY ACTIVITIES THAT END AT EVENING? I have several Fucking chores to run and I've already had to delay them for a Fucking week

Like, fuck, at least let me go out at night for a bit to get to the Fucking shop

YOU'LL NEVER SEE IT COMAAAAAAAAAAN

It's just like real life you fucking faggot.

If too much time is allotted then time management , a massive feature of persona games, would be removed. Action and consequence would be non-existent because you can just min max on your first run through anyway. There would be no ''Should I spend time with x today, or should I go with Y? Maybe I could also go level up a stat?''. This would make the game lose a lot of charm and unique features it has.

Welcome to Persona, where dungeons are easy but talking to your friends is hard.

Just like real life

Lets not do that today.

obviously they could crank up the numbers for stats grind, but sure, there has to be some texture to the schedule

If you haven't already, make sure you do max the teacher. After a day in the palaces, she'll come over, suck your dick and you can go out at night.

Agreed they should make stats a bit easier to level up, intellect was a fucking pain to grind, felt like I could spend 2 weeks sitting in the diner and it just wouldn't fucking budge. But they should definitely keep it at least somewhat challenging to keep things interesting.

It doesn't really matter in the long run. You can easily max out all your slinks in this game.

>any year
>expecting to be able to do shit on a "story" day

Get a load of this fag lmao

There are tons of story days in Persona 3 and 4 that you could do shit on.

The way the game works is so incredibly transparent I'm kinda shocked so few people realize it:

you're generally only allowed to do activities when you have a dungeon active because the bits between dungeons are reserved for story exposition. when the dungeon countdown ends you should expect not to have time to do anything for a while until the next dungeon starts.

I've been helping a friend play P4: Golden recently, and I had forgotten how many days the game gives you to do shit. Sure, P5 balances it by having way more night S-Links, but it really did feel like they did not give you as much time. Doesn't help that shit gets way more locked down at the end.

I think adding a extra month to do shit would be nice.

This is obvious. It doesn't make it good. The problem is mainly that the story days are boring and redundant. But they had to fill up a years worth of calendar space so they had to bloat out the story days with meaningless bullshit instead of anything interesting.

I'd say it fits the idea of living in Tokyo and leading an outlaw mind-hacking team of modern vigilantes makes you more busy than the average Chad in the boonies

Apparently, P5 has the most amount of free days, assuming you want to max everything in one playthrough. like barely more than P4 does.

It's just that they kind of hide them during dungeon time.

...

thanks for cropping out the face, user. I can enjoy this more.

22 xx (FINAL DAY)

this 100%, see

>those two weeks in September
That's like 2 hours of cutscenes.

Autism

thats the class trip right?

Hawaii + Okumura Palace introduction + Morgana's ego trip.

Maybe make it so you arent spending hours of gameplay doing nothing. Those segments were paced horribly when you have almost two weeks of not being able to do a single thing due to trivial bullshit. They could have given you the same, or even less amount of free time without it being "lol go to bed you jacked off once today"

Is it possible to clear all palaces on hard on the first day?

I hope they address that in Persona 5:R

Some days felt like they were outta my control.

just got fucking frustrated as shit with the exact same complaint as op

this was my first persona so i dunno, maybe the charm was lost on me, but i despised how much of my allegedly precious time the game fucking wastes with inane shit that should take five minutes, then prevents me from doing basic shit like just making a run to the store at night (it could literally just prevent you from doing any confidant / stat activities, and only allow you to enter shops / return dvds / etc). so during the shitty shonen dialog visual novels i'd just add a new little mark in a note on my phone

youtu.be/8RJc4gs7V0E reminder that the Door-kun cameo in P5 is a thing.

Provided there's no events where you have to come back the next day, yes, of course.

No, there are some that require a story section halfway through the dungeon (Madarame's door, Sae's courtroom, etc.)

...

Worst girl, ugly whore.

i maxed everything with like a month-2 month left was even faster than the shitty gamefaq guide i saw near launch

its so easy like holy fuck that guide didn't even know about time saving mechanics
