Sonic Mania Releases

>you are sega
>you make a solid game for once and people are hyped about it
>3 days before release you're delaying the game for a single platform for "optimization" reasons
>you obviously plan to put Denuvo onto your product, but keep quiet about it
>you release the game 2 weeks later
>it has a ton of issues even though you said you were gonna work on them
>you have put denuvo on your prduct, but still don't disclose that information
>you hurt legit customers and misplace their trust making them refund the game or not purchase it at all after having them wait for 2 weeks

>Denuvo
Seriously?

Yeah it has Denuvo on PC.

stop being so autistic

>Shoot down rumor of mod workshop just so you can kill the chance of modding even further with Denuvo.
Great job Sega.

Get a job.

I honestly don't understand why people even bother with Steam/digital PC games in 2017. Where is the advantage? It feels so damn off compared to console gaming.

Lots of people prefer PC cause of the high quality graphics the high frames and other bonuses, Denuvo is just a cancerous mole on that.

I encourage all PC users to pirate this, show Sega you don't want ports of Yakuza and any other games. Please pirate!

>paid online
>terrible hardware
>price fixing to appease brick and mortar stores
>awful online shop/security (except MS)
What advantage does console gaming have?

it's the PC market
who fucking cares what autistic manbabbies think

Damn we got a badass over here.

It doesn't have autists bitching because they can't steal a Sonic game.

Denuvo was implemented on Mania. You have to wait until a crack is released, the majority of which has been done by one scene group with other projects ahead of Mania.

But it had retards complaining about them charging $20 for a Genesis game instead.

I dont even play on PC and have the game on console. I just don't want Sega porting more games to PC.

Really? I only see autistic PC players crying. Most console players are too busy having fun to sit and complain that they can't steal something.

Why? What would be wrong with a GOG-style PC Release (No DRM) of a Sega game as opposed to any other locked down platform (using their own hardware-based DRM, mind you)?

Why are consolefags so butthurt about publishers deciding to port console games to PC.
When it's vice versa nobody complains.

Except Denuvo Doesn't stop piracy

Most Denuvo games get cracked within a week all it does is effect legitimate buyers.

point still stands

You all don't actually want to play games, just complain that you can't get them for free like a degenerate. If it didn't have DRM there would magically be another reason to pirate.

And? I'm encouraging PC players to pirate it.

actually i like the game, it's the Denuvo that's a cunt cause now i cant play offline and my hard drive may fuck up cause of how broken Denuvo is. Denuvo can be cracked in a week.

>If it didn't have DRM there would magically be another reason to pirate

See:
(swap effect with affect)

I own a whole range of consoles myself you obnoxious faggot.
>muh piracy boogeyman
The reason publishers keep porting games to PC is because the gaming desktop market is growing and PC ports are selling succesfully.
You have no argument.

I don't want to crack the game, I just want to buy and play it, but I will not support Denuvo.

You cannot support a PC release that uses Denuvo and not support Denuvo simultaneously.

The only thing that can discourage Denuvo usage is poor sales of products that utilize it. If you still want to support Sega, I reluctantly suggest you get a console version.

That's what I'm saying. I'm not going to buy it or pirate it. Only way I will play it at this point is if they remove Denuvo at some point later. Unfortunately I don't own or want a console right now.

HAHAHAHAHA

PCGUYS WERE ALL LIKE "Switch isn't the only handheld version, I'll just play it on my laptop / GPD win"

BUT ITS ALWAYS ONLINE HAHAHAHAHAHAHA PCFAGS BTFO ONCE AGAIN

Woah, you seem mad about something? Did a PC player hurt your feelings?

It references Mean Bean Machine? Holy shit.

On the bright side, based on these search results, Denuvo is set to go down the tubes in the long run.

Yeah especially since it's so easy to crack pirates love it but consumers hate it.
