ITT: Shit that you needed a guide for.

DaS, the whole game

Even for the first mook?

What's a mook?

A goon.

Is this how it looks like on consoles?

What's a goon?

Is reading guides the Dark Souls of problem solving?

A lackey.

...

Ok, I get. Well, if you consider that a lot of people face the skeletons first, then yes, even for that.

...

What's the Dark Souls of Soul-like?

The overwhelming power of the skeletons should tell you that that's not the first area you should go to as a newcomer.

>SMT IV is the Dark Souls of "Persona" games
i fucking hate vidya journalism so much

Honestly thought that I had to beat him with the Alucart equipment to get to the other part of the game at first.

Nioh.

I would have liked this quest if it didn't take so goddamn long to make every move.

It'd be an easy puzzle in any other game.

How can people read this crap and still be against gamergate?

spent like 20 fucking minutes searching for the third toaster.

I can beat it in a couple turns now, but I'm not ashamed to admit that this was the level that made me give up on the game for a few months.

>Dragon's Dogma
Maybe Dark Arisen if you go underleveled

What is the Dark Souls of Sup Forums threads?

Same thing happened to me here, little retarded 14 year old me had no idea there was even something after Graham, I had only collected 2 of the books that hint at what you're supposed to do but I had no idea what they were talking about, let alone knowing I needed 3 specific souls at the final boss.

>Dark Souls of Action RPGs
>Dark Souls of Fantasy RPGs
THEN WHAT'S DARK SOULS?

Dark Souls is the Dark Souls of game genre

The Zelda 2 of 7th gen.

Incidentally I needed a guide for this.

at some point in chrono trigger i just got confused and didn't know how to progress the story further pretty far into the late game. i remember going through the world like 10 times before i cracked. that was like 17 years ago

>ITT: Shit that you needed a guide for.

Adult life.

also at one point in oot i couldn't figure out what to do when i came to a river with a statue on the other side in some dungeon. turned out i had to shoot a bomb plant with an arrow to knock down the statue or something and i just never thought of it.

hey, at least it gives a good rewa-

...

The easter egg bullshit in all of the cowwadoody zombie maps.

Is it even possible to get them done on a blind run?

haven't done any of the recent rs3 quests but what is this?

and that's only half of it.

I think it's neat that fans of the series would pick up right away that
>OH I NEED TO EQUIP THE ONES DRACULA USED THAT'S FUCKING SMART
but really who the fuck was this game made for if this was your first castlevania game you'd be totally fucking confused

Well you only pick that up after you've gotten all the souls and try them out, and that's only if you manage to decipher the hints from the books to find out which monster souls they're referring to and the fact that you have to use them in the battle against Graham, let alone knowing that there's "post-game" content after him in the first pace. You do have to grind for them after all.

Dont know why but this really really triggers me

Dumb journalism does piss people off.
