In SMTIV the monkey was trusted to guide the people of Mikado to Tokyo so logic is rarely used in that world.
The cyberpunk atmosphere and what is probably the most complex negotiation system in the series make it interesting. Still it can be a bit boring at times but it's still quite enjoyable.

I can restore main character portraits, but they'll lose their animations. Already tested this on JPN version of Radiant Historia, you can bring back original portraits (they're DLC, but you can just romhack them by replacing default one's files as well) but that kills the different animations since original portraits didn't have different expressions obviously.
Oh yeah vilains are great in IV:A and their design is generally high to top tier, but shesha flynn really scare the shit out of me, they nailed the motherfucker.

Sorry was afk, I haven't gone far, only 3 hours into the game to test it out since I don't know Japanese, only went by memory from DS version. But basically it seemed like a more fluid, faster and generally quality of life changes update of the DS version.

You start with the regular girl, her name is Hitomi.
About an hour into the game or so she gets posessed by a demon named Nemissa, from then on she has split personality between Hitomi and Nemissa, as in both can talk at any given time alternating between eachother. As the game goes on, Hitomi's soul literally starts dying due to posession while Nemissa gets stronger, so Hitomi talks less and less while Nemissa talks more. Eventually Nemisa leaves her body and Hitomi is back to her usual self.
Also the only change Nemissa brings, other than her own voice obviously, is hair color and makeup.
The sexy outfit actually comes way later when Hitomi-Nemissa enters a store and picks a new sexy outfit for herself based on Nemissa's aggressive suggestion, but Hitomi isn't entirely opposed to it.
Also Nemissa's actual true form more or less looks like this, pic related, so you don't really want to fuck her. Hitomi just dressed shitty before Nemissa's posession.
