Reminder that bethesda is making you pay for paid mods in a game you paid for.
You'll have to pay again if you want your already paid for game and paid mods in VR, which you paid for.
Since when did Bethesda become such an expensive dick to suck?

>CDN
Reminder that Bethesda isn't making me pay for a goddamn thing. You're the one sucking their dick. Shut up and fuck off.
They are if you want mods.
>They are if you are retarded and buy them instead of getting them free from the Nexus
The next Holocaust is coming, but instead of Jews and cripples, it's people who actually pay for this bullshit.
free mods are still a thing, my man
for now
You guys are missing the point. If this succeeds other companies will do it too, and then things will just get even worse than they already are
If retards continuing paying for these mods then we're fucked, whats to stop companies from doing the same. They'll start by shutting down websites like nexus.
Reminder that the only thing that makes Betheada games playable is the modding community and now rather than hire modders to make actually good dlc and texture pack they go "eh lets just charge those fucking imbiciles for something free."
You can't download from Nexus anymore user. Check.
Stop with this fake news, you can still download.
Is that so? With what method?
The same methods I always have. Nexus is working perfectly fine.
People will just crack and repack modded versions of games.
ITT: People get upset over optional avoidable dlc.
>The same methods I always have.
Somebody is lying. I dare ask you to post proof.
...
>click on any random mod for any game
>files
>click on any manual download
>browser download dialogue opens
It's all a tengu's delusion though. Everything is.
by going on the nexus and downloading the mods, you literal retard.
...
????????
Reminder this is how modding dies.
>being this fucking retarded
>Paying modders to make third party DLC is somehow paid mods
Shit b8 thread, here's your reply.
holy shit it's real
no im not. im going to pirate mods the same as im going to pirate games if they insist on this bullshit
>Bethesda is making you pay for DLC
HOLY SHIT THIS IS NEWS WHOA
Fuck off retard.
Is crowdsourced horse-armor the hill you want to die on?
Sorry Mr Howard, but I'm still not paying for it even if you insult me.
Bethesda is contracting modders to make DLC for them. This is not paid mods. I'm not supporting it or saying anything against it. I'm just clearing up misinformation.
Okay guys here's the best way you can to end this.
Don't fucking buy it, if you hate it so much then don't buy it, if enough people do so then it'll send a message that people aren't liking it.
Making you pay for mods is not the same thing as giving you the option to pay for mods. Don't spread bullshit hyperbole. When the Skyrim paid mods thing happened all of you immature assholes spoke for the modders even though you don't do jack shit and screwed a lot of hardworking people over. Modders should have a better system that allows them to be compensated for their hard work. The whole modding culture is about free shit argument does not mean you have any right to decide whether or not other people should try to seek compensation for their work. If you want mods to be free, make free mods and perpetuate the culture that we already have. And if you really feel so strongly about this you can pirate the mods, you can do whatever the fuck you want but don't tell other people that actually did something that they don't have the right to charge for their labor. It's just a really shortsighted, immature, greedy attitude.
oh my days are they really trying this on the PC platform? are they fucking retarded
Back in the day, good modders would get hired by the developers they modded for. That was their compensation.
If you're not modding a game as a résumé, you're doing it as a hobby, and Bethesda is just dangling some paltry neetbux over your head for your "hard work" instead of doing what they should be expected to do for a freelancer enhancing their game.
Looks like I win.
Why the fuck is it so hard for you people to grasp this concept: I, like many others, want only the people who are willing to work for free, to make the mods, because their intentions are PURE; they do the work only to see their vision become reality. These are only types of people I want in a modding community.
>I have shitty internet, so I win
No dude.
It should be a donate button over a buy button.
Holy shit I'm not the only one getting this
If you think this is because of creation club you're retarded because it works when I switch to a different browser
And if it succeeds then there are enough people that want this shit so good for them I guess?
Worst case scenario you're just gonna pirate the mods for the games you probably pirated in the first place.
People already pay for mods.
One popular mod is where the modder stuffs a ton of random texture mods, including character armor mods, in a box and people pay to 'gamble' on one they really like.
I hear the ones that show the female's feet are quite popular.
>Don't spread bullshit hyperbole. When the Skyrim paid mods thing happened all of you immature assholes spoke for the modders
No, we reiterated what the modders themselves said. The vast majority of modders don't support paid mods.
You're a retard but I'll help you anyway. I was having the same problem until I removed https from the address bar. Then I could download shit again.
>ironically defending this
Have fun when poes law takes affect
>If this succeeds other companies will do it too
And? If it works, why wouldn't a business do it? All it can do is get them more money. You have no legal recourse against it. All you can do as an individual is not participate and hope that enough other people do the same that it makes them change their mind.
Steemit.com
Keep sucking the corporate cock, user.
>paying for mods
>unironically defending this
I glad I grew up in a better age of video long before this was a thing. So this industry can die with my blessing now.
