Just finished this game and realized holy fuck I have Asperger's. I always thought this was just a meme but reading about it makes it sound like literally me. I both feel like my life is a lie, yet clarity of my life at the same time.

Welcome to the autism club

hi fren

Well get hyped for the sequel

OP here. I think 5 years ago I woulda been devastated, but I'm pretty okay with it. My life makes so much more sense now.

I don't know, the depiction of it in the game is pretty weird and also intentionally vague. What specifically resonated with you?

The character didn't really at all. Just read TVTropes because I was curious what it was among other things. Found out Asperger's, Google'd it, read some pages. All described me with almost 100% accuracy. Took a test and scored 42/50.

>Sup Forums user has assburgers
>in other news, fire is hot

holy shit nigger. thanks for the knowledge

How is this your first exposure to Asperger's, it's been THE meme disease for like, several years now. Are you underage?

26. Only ever seen it posted here and never paid much attention to what it actually was. Just figured it was Sup Forums memeing.

Don't self diagnose, see a therapist

You know, to the moon is literally an indie pixelshit rpgmaker walking sim, and yet I always see it with a positive reaction on Sup Forums, I wonder why that is. Maybe because it's so old? If it came out today, I wonder if anyone would like it as much as they did

it was a progenitor of the genre. it preceded the pretension that the genre today entails and is a pretty decent story to boot.

>To the moon

>Took a test and scored 42/50.
those online tests are designed so that you'll always get the result you're looking for. only a professional can tell you.

This game is about Asperger's? I thought it was just some generic feelsy love story and I didn't bother playing.
Is the bird game about anything in particular or is it just about being afraid to let go of things.

This game was depressive as fuck. She died never getting through to the guy, and he died delusional

Did you play the mini episodes yet? minisode 2's ending gave me insane goosebumps. I can't wait for the sequel.

WHEN THIS WORLD IS NO MORE

It's implied that they met in heaven and confirmed their love there

pay a shrink a few hundred bucks

I really liked the core story/concept of To The Moon, but honestly it was VERY rough around the edges and the gameplay is practically a joke. It's an endless source of frustration to me that there are so many great ideas with mediocre executions, and even if I could somehow muster the motivation and resources to make my own versions they'd almost certainly be ridiculed, if not cause legal problems.

Only a psychologist can diagnose you. A shrink is just there to listen to you whine about how unfair life is.

Nah, I strongly doubt a game where SCIENCE is the biggest factor would do an asspull afterlife happy ending. If the devs literally said it was in the game I'd be disappointed.

His wife was autistic
that's the entire twist and that we would have been a fucking astronaut if he didn't hook up with her.
Women not even once.

>that scene when they first met and you finally understood what the paper rabbit meant

I wasn't ready
