Grimoire came out, and SCR but Grimoire was a mess, and SCR is a remake of a 20 year old game.

It's the first okayish year since like 2002/3 and people lose their shit. It's nothing special but at least games are finally getting better agian.

I grew up on RPGs and it's my favourite genre to this day, and definitely not enough games are being made. Even though I decided to play through Dead Island and Riptide lately. Only played it because I could throw weapons and cut limbs off zombies, really. I spend a lot of time playing modded Warband and/or Fallout New Vegas.

I didn't even play ME:A because I didn't like ME3 and I never believed they would improve on the things I disliked the most.

Gothic 1 was one of my childhood favourites, I thought the games would go in that direction a lot more. And boy I was wrong, barely any games/series in that genre, and hard to find any that aren't crap.
