Cause I'm not an autistic weeb

Wasn't it revealed that this weebshit had potential to be really bad spyware?

facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1520014

Also why the fuck would I want to click on a bunch of circles like its 2005 and I could only play flash games on Newgrounds? Who willingly chooses that over literally any other game available today?

>>one of the most difficult games
All rhythm games are equally difficult given that they have proper endgame maps
>>no niggers play it
I see one nigger streaming it all the time
>>no kids play it since its not on consoles
Are you fucking serious? At least 40% of the Top 100 is underage.

I like osu!, but get your facts straight.

>difficult
Rhythm games are all muscle memory
>no niggers
but weebs galore

>Wasn't it revealed that this weebshit had potential to be really bad spyware?
How often is this shit gonna be parroted until people finally get it?

Rhythm games are boring autistic shit

>Faggot anime OST game
Fuck off

You can play this game for thousands of hours without ever having to touch an anime or otherwise Jpop song. I will never understand this argument.

Who fucking cares
It's a shit faggot rythm anime game
Fuck off

Do you have some kind brain damage or are you literally 12 years old?

>no niggers play it
But I'm playing it right now?

chill out guys lets all b passive here

>>no kids play it since its not on consoles
Kids don't play on consoles they use their tablets or phones, and guess what osu! is playable on

I'm not asian enough and my hands are shot even if I were.

What's the gameplay like?
And I think installing this shit is more complicated than it need to be?

>playing videogames where it is easier to program a robot to play it than it is to master it

It's typical gookclick gameplay. You've seen it before. If you're having trouble with installation you need to actually read the directions.

You click the circles. Sometimes hold them, and sometimes move your cursor in a circle.
Shouldn't be hard to install.

>Play Osu! Tatake! Ouendan! and the sequel
>Finish both on hardest difficulty
>Miss them
>Find Osu!
>Its shit without a touch screen

I was disappointed but not surprised.

>what is chess

I only play real rhythm games.

There is opsu! for android. Although, you can't download beatmaps from the osu.ppy.sh site, you can download them from these beatmap mirrors.

I play this while im waiting between moba matches.

Its barely a good standalone game. I just use it to +DEX

>lets get good on a shitty rhythm game
>instead of an actual musical instrument
Good Job!

>Tfw the shitty rhythm game made you pick up playing the piano

My nigga
You don't need friends to play rhythm games

its full of weebs, and most of the songs are fucking weeb anime openings and japanese trash

>be an IIDX player
>spend a fortune at the arcade to get somewhat decent
>forced to spend hundreds of bucks to get a controller for your PC
>install LR2
>get destroyed by Korean O2Jam players who share the rankings with you because they use a superior input device
Yeah, fuck that shit. I will never understand why Bemani fanboys give the franchise so much praise. At least SDVX deserves it.

Are you mentally ill? Just curious.

>clicking 8 times per second flailing your mouse across the screen like you're having a seizure
>automatically fail because you clicked a tenth of a second too early and never recovered
>all songs are high pace weeb shit without any sense of rythm or soul

very fun

Because it's fun. Playing spaghetti charts with a typing device is not fun

That just means you realized that getting good on the piano has atleast a dozen benefits while rhythm games only give you hand-coordination in a space the size of your keyboard/touchscreen
You can get friends if you play an instrument
A talent you can be proud of
A potential career

It's only fun as long as you don't pay attention to the scores. Now it's just enraging me

*hand-eye coordination

Yes, and the iddiotic community defended it.

No kids play it,

But it's player base is all children

>no kids
Have you seen the literal weeaboo audiences?

>SDVX
I got bored this summer and built a controller for this shit
I've never had so much with a rythm game before

>no kids play it
user, 90% of the people I've played with online in this game are underage, in the age of 15-19 yrs. And what's worse they're in their awkward teenage weeaboo years. Just remembering myself when I was a teenage weeaboo makes me cringe. Hell, just talking with these children makes me feel old and reminds me too much of my chuuni stage in childhood.

Can you order those buttons separately? That's pretty neat, user.

>caring about ranking on a game without official charts
And they wonder why the entire rhythm game community laugh at them

>potential
This pic was an exemple of someone spyed that was with the source code leak

Shouldn't make it any less frustrating paying for something that handicaps you against someone else playing the exact same game. Hardly any of the official IIDX songs made you feel like the turntable actually made sense.

Pretty much this

So, according to your logic using a dancepad with stepmania is stupid because you would make better scores with a keyboard ?
If you can't understand that playing with a dedicated controller could be funnier than with a keyboard, you're a retard.

No, that's not my logic. The dancepad is an entirely different gimmick altogether. You're even using your feet instead of your fingers.

Take a well-designed controller like the one for SDVX, for example. It's perfect for playing the game, and you can't dumb it down using a keyboard. There's nothing clever about the Beatmania controller, it's just plain inferior compared to a keyboard. I won't argue that playing with either is more fun than the other, but I personally prefer what performs better.

>no kids
i know for a fact that 12 year olds post in osu threads

>There's nothing clever about the Beatmania controller
Game is entirely about mimmicking a DJ
Notes are keysounded because of it
Controller's design comes from that
Charts are made according to your hand placement on the controller
Controller also allows you to use multiple hand placement strategies

Why is a Beatmania (IIDX) controller poorly designed again ?

this

>>all songs are high pace weeb shit without any sense of rythm or soul

That's only really true for really high level maps because it's impossible to make it hard and go with the rhythm for 99% of songs

Isn't Osu based on a genre that has its heaviest presence on handhelds? Aren't handhelds for children?

>Controller also allows you to use multiple hand placement strategies
Yes, because you're forced to build all kinds of bizarre muscle memory for various patterns in order to be good at the game. The game shouldn't able to become easier if you had the freedom to arrange buttons a bit differently, but that's what happens. Don't make it sound like the charts are perfectly designed for this kind of gameplay, either. There's a reason Mei hasn't been fullcombo'd even to this day.

>you're forced to build all kinds of bizarre muscle memory for various patterns in order to be good at the game
Oh no! You have to learn how to play the game to get good at it

The controller shouldn't make the game harder, is what I'm saying. Unless it's an entirely different gimmick, like drums for Taiko or a dancepad for DDR. The turntable makes little sense for most songs anyway.

>Unless it's an entirely different gimmick
But it is! Keys are completly different from a keyboard, same from placement and the turntable
Saying that the turntable makes little sense is stupid, it is part of the game, have it's own keysounds and force you to do a special movement, wich is fun
Technically you could say the same for every arcade rhythm game, here you are choosing selfishly wich game uses a "good" gimmick

good thread op :^)

i prefer audiosurf

I'm not, I played IIDX and more than often, the sounds that are assigned to the turntable have little to do with it as an actual turntable.
