And that's just counting games I want to play, not counting the literal decades of crap on top of it.

Your measly 4 or 5 games that I have any notion to even acknowledge will be emulated by the time I'm making my way to them.

There's really nothing. I beat BB and haven't really touched it since. GR was shit. Nier A was shit. Needs more not-shit anime games.

Gravity Rush 2 is the only PS4 game I care about and I'm not going to drop 200+ bucks on a console to play one game.

Got one for 200 on sale during the Switch launch. Had a great time with Yakuza 0 and Persona 5, playing a lot more stuff than I used to.

Bought a pro last week, it shipped with a free copy of Horizon: Zero Dawn. HZD is pure, unfiltered trash. It's the perfect embodiment of everything wrong with modern Western singleplayer game development.

Gravity Daze 2's demo was amazing and it'll likely end up being one of the first games I get once pay day rolls around. Bloodborne and Nioh both seem like they'd slot perfectly into my wheelhouse. Let It Die is easily one of the better F2P games around. Overall there's maybe 5 or so games on the system that I'm absolutely desperate for, and another 12-15 "grab them second-hand/on sale" titles I'll likely end up getting as time goes on. Overall, I don't regret my decision, but I do hate that literally the only bundle I could find included such a garbage game. HZD will likely end up being my first ever trade-in.

Sup Forums is a video game enthusiast forum, believe it or not.
Since everyone here owns a decent PC, a Wii U, a Switch and a PS4 or have good reasons for not owning one of them (common to not get a Switch early if you're unhappy with Wii U), available multiplats are played on the PC.
Reasons for this being choice of input methods and mods.

Thus, exclusives are the only thing that matters on console, with exceptions like Denuvo and launch delays on PC, general performance issues that don't exist on console as well as prioritizing portability with the Switch.

I tried making a list and found 4 games I really want to play on it, and that's not enough to buy one right this minute. I'm waiting until after RDR2 comes out next year. I will absolutely get a ps4 but I can probably wait until the ps5 is out so the library is even bigger and games are cheaper.

I haven't owned a console since I bought ps3 for demon's souls and sold it a year later with demon's souls and gran turismo 5

at this point I am 35 and I can only view consoles as childrens' toys, especially nintendo with actually requiring you to buy toys to play the games

A game console needs 1 game per $50 spent on the console to be worth while and more than that to become a better deal. The PS4 still has not reached this number.

Because when you have a PC the only thing a cut and dry console like the PS4 has to offer is exclusive games.

I've gone and got games on Vita, 3DS, and WiiU because the portability/Gamepad mode offered me something that the PC version couldn't before. But the PS4 has nothing special to offer me besides its (weak) library.
