The revolver works, and it also has a mode where you use the shot to make the blade vibrate to do more damage

I hated Advent Children, but after reading the vitally important novellas, watching Case of Denzel, and playing Crisis Core Advent Children Complete is passable (but still not a good movie).

I don't know who decided to make the most important back story explaining character motivations into supplemental material, but not including any of it in the movie to cram in more meaningless action sequences was a terrible choice.

That said, I do like how Clouds fusion swords imply he is a highly skilled swordsman in a way we never really saw in FFVII.

For FFVIII's gunblade, the trigger and ammunition only makes the blade vibrate to enhance damage. It isn't a projectile weapon at all.

I don't understand the people who hate the Gunblade, it doesn't even shoot bullets. The Gunblade vibrates when the trigger is pulled, this was the intended purpose to match how they wanted to design Squall's limit breaks which has the player pulling the controller's triggers at the correct moment.

How does the Keyblade rank?

They could have done the same thing without using such a silly design.

Nero literally attached a motorcycle engine to his sword in DMC4 and I've never once seen anyone complain about that since the game came out.
