$20 to back

> $20 to back

Hmmm... do I want this? I mean, I do hate the usual N64 controller that feels like ass. I hated the 3 prongs, the stick is stiffer than anything. If it weren't for the annoying delivery price then there would be no problem.

Bump.

Fark, that looks pretty sweet, but
>kickstarter

Sauce?

Well they apparently already did one for the NES that's was received well.

kickstarter.com/projects/1247448559/next-gen-n64-nintendo-64-controller

If you're in the US, I suppose it's worth the $20 risk.

I need to hold one before I commit to it but I hope it does well, looks like a neat design

>le all kickstarters are bad maymay
Now that thats out of the way...

for the love of god stop shilling your garbage controller already

This doesn't help

Fuck off moron

Looks fine enough but
>not being a controller purist

N64 has self-destroying sticks.

Would it have killed them to add a second joystick so you could use it for anything else?

> If I don't like thing person must be shilling
How about you just don't comment if you're not interested?

N64 was my first console, I've always hated it.

Too many games use the C buttons for more than the cameras. Plus there wouldn't be much room for it. These controllers are more made for fighters games, hence Retro Fighter.

>How about you just don't comment if you're not interested?
Please return to whatever hugbox forum you crawled out of

People have been shilling this piece of shit for weeks with the dumbest fucking rhetoric possible
>the stick is stiffer than anything
Crap like this isn't even a bad opinion, this is objectively false.

> inb4 they blame the factory for it being shit.

Yeah I'm sure they desperately need to make threads on here to suade the 9 people who will be in this thread. Again:
> I don't like thing, it must be le shilling

> Apparently complaining about the shipping charge is good for "shilling"
You were just really eager to use that word weren't you.

Are there actual pictures of the controller or is this render all we have?

looks sick af

why wouldn't nintendo just figure this out?

This controllers seems to be great, I'll buy a bunch of them.

They listened to the consumers and put a octagon gate into it.

The original N64 controller feels amazing. The thing is they have all deteriorated. Looks like this controller has another """superior""" (actually garbage) Gamecube stick to "give it a modern feel".

Never.

>$20 to deliver to UK
What?
I backed up a few projects on KS and I never had to pay for shipping costs when they delivered, no matter where they were from, a couple even came from fucking shanghai

They completely fucked up the A-B-C positioning.

Ergonomy

Not him but I've always had tax on shit from the US and never from rice nations. "Special relationship" my arse.

Finally I can play killer instinct gold again

>D pad under the analog

Shouldnt be above the analog?

You know, like the real N64 controller

Is this an actual N64 controller, or a PC controller? If the former... why? If the latter... why no second stick? I'd buy a PC controller like this in a heartbeat.

>$20 + $20 = $31

>Sup Forums does math

It's made to be a good controller, not to mimic the original one.

Who fucking cares. Most N64 games worth caring about either use the analog stick or the D pad. Rearranging the controls at this point is pointless because games were built with the original in mind.

I had tax too[*] when they came from the US(i live in EU), but never paid shipping costs from anything from KS.
I'm looking around but i clearly remember reading how the shipping costs are usually included in the amount you're supposed to back up to have the item, and when there are extra due to things beyond your(the backer) control, it's all on the KS holder.

[*] even then, it was a very tiny amount, $3.50 for a $60 project.

the stick in the N64 is garbage, even a well maintained one because it has no bearings, the stick is designed to grind against its housing and linkages till it brakes
Nintendo fucked it up hard on that design, even more when analog sticks werent even new tech, fucking atari made one that didnt grind itself to death (although it also had its problems, but hey, its a second gen system, analogs were actually new back then)

$20 + $20 = £31
He did currency change you retard.

Why do 3rd party controllers always have a turbo button?

>reads $ instead of £
>Sup Forums can't read

I don't think he is from Sup Forums hence the reddit spacing.

Oh so it does have an octogonal gate? Sick that was my only complaint seeing the pics.

I may just do this.

Yep

kickstarter.com/projects/1247448559/next-gen-n64-nintendo-64-controller/posts/1971105

But, believe or not, there are normies complaining.

Backed. For 20 bucks if it ends up being good thats a steal, if not, it's 20 bucks i wouldve spent on something stupid anyways. Lets hope it doesnt suck dick.

I don't give a fuck so long as they keep the gate.

The original one is the best. How can you hate that comfy Z trigger.

Will the stick have the same problems other N64 controller mods have?

I really want to try it because I love the N64 but the controller is such fucking shit. Anyone who's spent significant time with an N64 knows that it's joystick is no bullshit. The level of control in Super Mario 64 and other games is incredible; far more than what the vast majority of games today do. I would need a trusted source to test this out before I commit to it. That, and Kickstarter is usually a blueprint for trouble. Still, for $20, I just might give it a chance due to how shit the original controller is.

Here's a good video that explains what the fuck I'm talking about:
