is this game any good or typical indie piece of shit?
i played Shadowrun Returns and Dragonfall and liked it
is it something similiar?

Underrail is gameplay and mechanics over story, I personally prefer it over shadowrun, though they are both good.

It is a bit clunky at times though.

i did not play Shadowrun Hong Kong because i got bored of the game mechanics after Dragonfall which was too long in my opinion, Shadowrun Returns had perfect lenght for such a simple game
is it really good?

your picture bothers me, please delete it

Have a guide while I bump the thread

I've played this game for many hours, where's the actual plot stuff, am I supposed to be getting friendly with one of the big factions?

>where's the actual plot stuff

doesn't really happen until you get to rail crossing. also the actual actual plot stuff you just sort of stumble into and never really get the full picture without a guide. even with a guide you still don't get the full picture

I've dealt with some plot people at rail crossing. I did that thing with gorski in core city as well, but there were no plot 'leads', so I just continued fucking about in the lower underrail killing bad guys and collecting poison

perhaps you should try competing in the arena friend. the local corporations are always looking to recruit new talent, and what better way to get your name out there.

I have, some guy suggested I find a sponsor, but I didn't do that. should I have?

have you saved buzzer the shopkeeker in rail crossing?

if he died you will need to go to foundry to continue the main story

yes. if I remember correctly that thing pretty much just concluded itself and didn't lead anywhere

JKK4lyfe

>AoD at the bottom

(you)

Did you go back to tanner and told him what you found out?

jkk masterrace reporting, true shadow masters of core city

snoretech and plebsec shills go and stay go

I don't remember, but I'll try

Praetorians were made to remove kebabs like you

After checking a gameplay video I rather doubt it merits as high a position as Divinity for example. Let alone compared to actual greats such as Jagged Alliance 2

I got really into this game on release and played for a while, made a pretty solid psi build and ended up traveling to the Arena and not doing much with the storyline. Game was fuckin great I just felt out of my depth, lost my save but I'm thinking of picking it up again.
Are there any good psi builds pictures or anything like that?

Also has much changed with the game since ~3 months after release?

lol

Graphic heteros are the worst

any news on when the expansion will be ready?
styg's taking his time so it's bound to be great

What if I wanted to go full psi, no melee and no weps, what should I level up as a secondary skill?

youtube.com/watch?v=qHXG2SCMEGk

H|ere's some WIP gameplay from the expansion if you haven't seen it yet. As for a release date, Styg said it should be ready when it's ready

no i havent seen it
thanks man

is it free

everything's free if you are a pirate

you mean a secondary combat skill? You get enough skill points each level to increase eight different skills, combat included

if you go full psi, you don't really need a secondary combat skill

Then no one can help you, good luck finding an RPG with this much gameplay depth

You could wait for the expansion, besides a new major questline it will also add shotguns and new types of melee weapons

My advice would be to make a build that's very different from what you had before, why not a crossbow wielding trapper?

I played through the game without even touching psi, but I guess you max out will, intelligence and dex are also important, everything else is 3-4.

If you really only want to use psi abilities dont put anything into guns, melee or crossbows, though throwing and traps can be really useful.

Put most of your skills into psi (duh), I doubt you're gonna do much crafting so that leaves quite a lot of room for stealthy stuff.

Praetorian is the worst faction
But the most easy to bound in the game
Coretech is for patrician

I mean the expansion

Wait is Expeditions Vikings even out?

Underrail is the best RPG I've played in the past few years, hands down. It's a pretty good game.

not sure if comfy or eerie

Is the Praetorian warehouse mission any easier than the Coretech one? Defending the warehouse is hard as shit, but I'm wondering if they flip it so that you're outnumbered if you choose to attack with the Praetorians instead of defend with Coretech.

>water caves

not sure if homage or just plain rip-off of youtube.com/watch?v=TzMHvvBqVuY

coretech is the hardest, praetorian is easier, jkk is easiest unless you have arachnophobia and shitty detection

Is torment that bad? :(

I think everyone was just reeeee sjw and never played it

Lots of purple prose without actually being interesting, boring combat and little world interaction make it incredibely stale.

>age of decadence at the bottom
only mistake here, it should be at the top with the others
