TWO Dyson spheres

You go back to the start of half life 1

I wouldn't because the story is fucking dumb and it's always been obvious that they've been making up as they go along. There are no interesting 'answers' to anything in the story

>Gordon finds a bunch of fighter jets from before the combine invasion
>trains the resistance to fly them
>Gordon flies a jet through a combine portal to the combine homeworld
>shoots a nuke at it
>entire planet explodes
>combine empire is destroyed forever

marc laidlaw implied that the weak link of the combine was the advisors. the advisors apparently being flesh prisons composed of the leaders of conquered planets that they brought into the fold.

advisor breen would be an in that, when convinced that humanity had a hope, would allow for an allegiance with the advisors themselves that everybody assumed were the villians. This would cause the complete dissolution of the combine's structure and cause an outright civil war that culminates on earth.

By discovering that the combine actually come from earth, and live besides the Antarctic wall

gordon gets fucking laid

God was the final boss all along and Freeman is actually a tsundere.

twitter.com/breengrub?lang=eng

read this. it's advisor breen talking about advisor stuff and making references to things marc just recently revealed about episode 3. the advisors are conquered slaves with microphones permanently wired into their consciousness to ensure they tow the line.

Shut up Jonny Goodboy Tyler

fpbp

this shit implies the vortiguants are literally spies for the combine which is why they butt heads with G-man so often.

considering they save gordon in the marc laidlaw post, can you imagine a half-life 3 where gordon is fighting for the interests of the combine?

G-Man shows up, shoots Freeman, then turns straight to the camera and says "It looks...like he had a half...life."

don't forget the part where advisors are literally the young of a slave race that is so genetically advanced that they remain as infants, grubs, for literal aeons. This is the small spark of hope advisor breen holds onto

Freeman and any allies he has left improves the portal tech to connect to the Dota 2 and TF2 worlds and brings them in to help defeat the Combine. Since the characters from those universes are not bound to our universal laws, they absolutely start destroying the Combine at a steady pace.
The final opponent Freeman has to face is actually G-man in order to liberate Alyx. After Gordon wins, the Dota 2 heroes and TF2 characters return to their universes, but not after huge-ass celebration where they all party with Gordon and his allies.
The End.

(This is the best ending we could ever get)

Breen is talking about the species his Grub body was derived from, not the Vortigaunts.

I want to know the origin of the Combine but maybe it's more fun if we never know, the Combine being a mass of several species that only grows and assimilates with no clear leadership or goal makes it look like a tumor of sorts.

breengrub expresses a paranoid fear at a few points that the vortiguants are moles, and that he doesn't trust them. the vortiguants refuse to tell him of things he has done.

breen grub also goes on the say that not all of the advisors within the combine are affected by the mind rape virus.

marc laidlaw through the breengrub account outright calls the rulers a race of parasites that do nothing but seek weakness to consume and destroy.

>Return to Black Mesa Research Facility
>Use machine to bore into the depths of the facility
>Re-open portal to Xen
>Travel to Xen and the Vortigaunts revive Nihilanth to help with the destruction of the Combine.
>Nihilanth agrees but only if Gordon can kill G-Man.
>You have to work with Adrian Shephard, who was taken out of stasis before the events of HL2, and work with a crew of hgrunts to set a trap to kill G-Man.
>He says in the past 20 years he has found an interesting lab Gordon would appreciate and use its technology to maybe be able to help kill G-Man.
>It's Aperture Science.
>They go inside and find Father Grigori jerking off.

I remember he mentioned the grumbling among the Advisors, but I dont remember him admitting to talking to Vortigaunts. All I remember about his paranoia arc was that he thought someone kept killing him.

>go back to black mesa
>be told that in order to win earth back from the aliens you need to suck breens fat grubby cock
>game turns into a 2000 hr long SFM hardcore breenathon that ends on a cliffhanger with the hl4 logo appearing from the shadows

I wouldn't.

dr bean penetrates gordon's urethra with his moist brain tendril tongue and sucks out all his 300 IQ semen

>the TF2 universe gets the Half Life universe hopelessly addicted to hats
>commence to economically dominate them and become the new overlords of earth
>start draining earth's resources to make more hats
>Half Life 4

early on in the account he goes on a lot about vortiguants. I think the idea is that the vortiguants share the telepathy the advisors have and can talk to them that way. would be an extremely sneaky way for the combine to keep tabs on the advisors without having to be one.

>Even these vortigaunts...what if they are of the other sort, allied with THEM, and merely feigning revolutionary thought?

>Apparently there are things I will have done that the vortigaunts will not tell me. They would not have me slough into despondency.

>But they would never have me. I know not all that I have done, for it lies somewhere in this copy's future, and the records are incomplete.

>Were I worthy of admittance to that core cabal...the silent communicants of whom the vortigaunts sing...

What makes you think it's him and not just a fan theory? It was heavily implied that the advisor was Breen when the game came out, it's not unthinkable that it's just a fan.

this series would have been in a unique position to tease a sex scene because everyone knows it's not gonna fade to black

THIS

loled heartedly

Aww poor BreenGrub. It seems to me he was likely on his way to being a leader of the Advisor resistance and the Vorts just didn't want to spoil it for him.

The Combine get the portal tech and put Cave Johnson in charge of everything.
The end.

it is basically confirmed as marc laidlaw.

also

>I have had to be quiet. I sense their interest. Must wait for the scuttling to stop.

the ruling race is most likely something insectoid.

guys what if the combine master race is the gonarch

Someone said marc confirmed it on his twitter years ago but I didn't bother to check if that's actually true.

A big ass war and its just crazy

already finished
