Ryuji had the potential to be one if the best persona characters ever. Imo this is what they should have done:
>give him more dialogue
>do everything they can to make him the most bro tier
>build Shido up more
>make you actually want to take Shido down
>have Ryuji die on the escape from Shidos ship
And from there make Ryujis sacrifice the driving point of the game to defeat Yaldy.

Man I hated that they went with the Seiten Taisei thing as his 2nd persona, Captain Kidd was cool enough, and from that they could go with Blackbeard or whatever, but that thing....no just no.

Honestly most companions personas in P5 are cooler in their first form, becoming eye searing ugly in their ascended forms.

I guess your average otaku would burn in rage if characters started dating between themselves, say if you pick futaba, ann and ryuji will go out, yusuke with makoto and so on, but "muh purity" autismo would never allow that.

It would at least make the characters look more alive and just just sex dolls/eternal beta orbiters like they are right now.

I remember in P4 golden where if you date Chie and max her rank earlier enough, you can begin drooping hints that you are dicking her to the others as earlier as four months in the game, and yet no one really reacts to this, you can spend the rest of the game taking Chie home every day to fuck and no one reacts, no one tries dating with each other or fucking around, like you know, normal people would do.

Speaking of which, I feel like playing P4 again, but I never tried P4:Golden, is it worth it?

Having confidants hang out with eachother one on one would really make them seem more fleshed out considering you are able to do all the time. Being able to nudge relationships would be even better I understand some waifufags would freak the fuck out. It would open a whole new dimension to the Waifu Wars of these games.

I didn't get the same wimp vibe from Ryuji that I did from Yosuke.

That being said, all the bro-tier characters are good.
Mishima is also good and the only reason people don't like him is because they see themselves in him.
Whereas I see my old self in him and wanna help him constantly get better.

Same, its pretty hard to get back into other games and I just finished it once. I think I probably plan to do a hard normal new game and quickly do a New Game + for the Platinum and spectacle and hopefully I'll wear myself out to the point where I can get back into other games without fatigue.

I seriously don't want to play any other game besides Persona 5. But the problem is it takes way too much of my time and sleep. This is the only game I've played in my life that has had so much impact on me. This game killed my momentum and desire to play any other game.

I feel similar except now that I finished it once I don't feel like I'm in much of a rush to finish it again and can stop procrastinating on everything else. It was the first time a game hit me so good in a long time that I spent the rest of the day after I finished it just thinking about it and looking up fanart. Crazy. Next Persona game I gotta clear my schedule.

It adds a bunch of extra, non-plot activities n shiet.
IMO they don't fit very well into the setting, but hey, more content.

I completely agree. Ryuji was my favourite guy; when it looked like he got killed off I was sitting there mouth agape. Would have been WAY more impactful than Shinji's death.
