Not unless you're part of the rebel or Combine factions, which usually require a donation or a long forum post explaining why you should be granted approval. Otherwise it's pretty much just a europoor simulator.

I can almost guarantee that wasn't DarkRP. In DarkRP they just hit you with the "arrest stick" and you get to stand in a cell for about 5 minutes. Occasionally one of the cops will come in and smack you with the stun baton for a bit.

I had so much fun on HogwartsRP before they remade the map.

If you play Sandbox, you know what real freedom is

Some roleplay servers are fine, back a few years ago I played a lot of hl2 servers, the feeling of being that oppressive setting can help, a shame that the resistant leaders are always the owners/co owners untouchable even if they walk into the nexus fully armed or the fact you have to act like a slavering whimp as a civil protection or get called edgy.
Same applies to the overwatch faction with the resistant part, power corrupts them to think they are better then everybody.

I really enjoyed the slender man mode. People there were mostly chill and it was fun.

Okay, how the fuck do you get spells and shit in HogwartsRP? There's no documentation or explanations of shit anywhere and I and a friend were trying to get into it to people watch but we had no clue what the fuck was going on most of the time.

If I remember right, some one just has to spawn a book you can pickup.

someone please host a no bullshit no addons server of this. I just want my 10 or so default jobs and a decent amount of tools to fuck around with.

It's impossible to find a server now with the old darkrp map (new one is way too big and shitty) with only the essential jobs and no tool restrictions

the entire idea of fun that could be found in the real darkrp experience is now in found in much better form in ss13
