Anybody tried absolver? Is it worth the money?
Anybody tried absolver? Is it worth the money?
I can't connect to the servers at all, what's going on?
>Anybody tried absolver?
Yes
>Is it worth the money?
No
the new fotm pvp game, buy it if you want a game that will only be alive 1 month
Bought it yesterday and unironically only managed to connect to the servers the first time i played.
too expensive, not gonna last another week or maybe two, playerbase already dwindling from launch.
I like the ideas behind it, but it's also way too large in scope for what it actuall accomplishes.
Also you're better served playing the game once, then going through it again, knowing which skills will be most effective later on. I mean, unless you just want to grind out all the moves from the getgo, that's an option too.
It's an expensive indie title; I purchased the mask edition [which still hasn't fucking arrived] because I like the look of the mask.
Games with devicive concepts, but nothing much else need to follow the Warframe method of
>release game for free and gather a playerbase
>update semi regularly with new content to make players return from time to time rather that pick it up and drop it after a few days (add new fighting styles or something. More maps and zones etc.)
>have a cash shop for cosmetics and account utilities so there is a stream of money and the game stays relevant because there is a playerbase
For Honor wouldve done well if it did the same, and look where it is now. Devicive games need to gather an audience, and thats incredibly hard when you put a big price tag on it that deters people from trying something they know nothing about that is almost reliant on its multiplayer to be playable.
i also want to try but i think it will be dead soon. playerbase already dropping from 10k to 2-4k
I love it. Haven't had any of these connection issues people are talking about. Here's a shit picture
I guess I'm not buying it then, danke.
it's fun if you like this sort of game
if you're the typical 15-year-old plays-on-a-keyboard Sup Forums user that complains when someone outplays him then you might not have it fun
...
...
What is it exactly? Any webms?
>devicive
what the fuck
It's a fitness program.
for honor with martial arts
:^) it's almost like you know me
i feel like there's a new trend on Sup Forums where if a game doesn't pull 500k players for a month straight then it's a ded game donut buy
what happened to playing niche games with a small tight-knit community
but to be fair the devs are fucking up bad because the servers are down all the time and they didn't have an open beta to stress test them and actually get people playing the game. they went with the "give streamers the game lmao" approach even though the game is boring as fuck to watch while being fun to play
Basically some will say its utter shit, and others will swear by it, so people are mixed before they even go into it.
you mean divisive? learn to speak you fucking troglodyte
>what happened to playing niche games with a small tight-knit community
Because you cant talk about it with Sup Forums, and if it doesnt have a large Twitch audience then its a bad game, apparently.
Auto-corrected to "device" and I manually corrected it wrong. Calm down.
I really enjoyed it. I played it offline and just took a lot of time taking in the scenery and learning all the moves the AI can give you. Got about 15 hours worth.
I just beat the final boss a couple hours ago, and it was weird. You get a nice sword, a nice cloak and you become an Absolver, but then it chucks you back to the starting area and basically says 'Yo, play PVP until we make more content.'
A weird way for the single player content to sort of end. I didn't expect it to end so quickly, but I did know that the main focus of the game is pvp.
It's a good fucking game for cool looking martial arts moves. Windfall best style.
