Seems King Knight's gameplay is taking some inspiration from Wario.

That Pridemoor Keep gameplay looks surprisingly tough for how early in the game it is. I wonder if King Knight is going to be the hardest story?

Wasn't Specter Knight's campaign supposed to be tough?

kind of. Stages were a pain in the butt. Bosses were the easiest though because specter is 2strong

Specter is by far the easiest of the campaigns, his curios are unbelievably OP for platforming and boss fights

Kinda surprising for a game-play style that was based on Ninja Gaiden.

The card game seems a mix of card game with board game

Wonder if the new card mini-game will have online support?

It's also possible Pridemoor might be later content than normal.

Makes sense given each larger world is about him overthrowing an existing king, Pridemoor is probably the final section of the first world or something.

Yeah, the world map doesn't even connect the roads of the stages, the king will probably be in a later part in the game, from the way the dev talked in the second video it seems there's still a lot of things to be done

I do wonder who the other two kings are going to be.

I'll shit a brick if we get a Troupple King boss fight.

>Trouppe King boss fight
I would shit a brick too

We probably will end up getting a Troupple King fight (will be surprised if otherwise), but do we have any other idea of which other character could be "King-Material"?

All of this cool shit in King/Specter's campaigns make Plague Knight's look really fucking lazy.

No.

I'm personally subscribing to Mr. Hat secretly being a king somehow since he's the only one of the kickstarter backer characters that hasn't really become been expanded in a DLC campaign.

Even if it's something stupid like him being the king of fashion.

True, it would be the perfect way to round things off with the kickstarter characters.

Plague Knight's campaign was closer to the original plan for the DLC. Originally it was just going to be new characters in the same levels, but then Specter or Torment happened.

The first draft is usually the most basic, while the other drafts after that tend to be more refined.

This would be great, he became MR.Hat from the trauma of losing his crown

>do we have any other idea of which character could be "King-Material"
Don't forget that Shovel Knight has been confirmed for the NMH crossover game

Plague Knight still my favorite

>New bosses
Cool

>You have a curio to heal yourself at anytime and its fueled by a resource you can get pretty easily.
Still prefer spectre over plague.

Looks fantastic

These are always so great they make the base game look bland in comparison. When was the last time you guys even played Shovel Knight's own campaign?

I played it in preparation for spectre knight.

>Inb4 Travis ends up being the Switch and 3DS exclusive boss.

...

I want to hug Plague Knight

I can see this happening

what? how do you get the Mona portrait?

New Game Plus.

So those "30 levels" mentioned before are just usual 10 levels (Plains + 8 Knight stages + Tower of Fate) split into 3 mini-levels each? Eh, it's okay, I guess.

Not that guy but my guess is replaying the level after finishing the game

wow is the same shit but with different character.

Same Shit?

Real shit.

>Wario shoulder charge
>Completely new areas
>Essentially Triple fucking Triad

The only thing worrying me is that you have to shoulder bash even the dirt piles to dig treasure, i can see this getting annoying really fast due to the bounce of each bash taking longer than a simple strike and thus taking longer to dig all the pile

I think you can use your down strike to dig up the dirt piles as well.

For the custom knight.
