Warrior with six skill slots
Everything from DD:DA, and an infinite dungeon on top of Alchemist from DDO and original shit, plus more of everything we already have and more interaction with your waifu on top of more monsters and tameable horses and more spells and the same VA that voiced grigori in a different role and the cycle broke and Everything from DD:DA, and
rework the armor system for enemies so it doesn't completely break the game in half. Also, more Berserk pandering.
More classes, maybe some bigger enemies and cooler ways to climb them, grapple or leaping into the arms of my pawn and having them chuck you somehow
Magic sluts get a jet boost
And maybe some way to travel the overworld faster that just lazy portcrystals, i don't know if MT framework can handle vehicles though
Online coop
More interesting creatures to fight, more polish in general (mainly fixing performance issues), larger overworld, greater customization options for pawns, proper multiplayer (include couch co-op), more classes, an even bigger and badder dragon than Grigori, better movement options, and I would love a goofy bard class of some kind.
More enemies, more weapons, more skills (I don't even think new vocations are necessary, just expand the skill lists of existing ones; give the Mystic Knight the ability to use a GS and a set of skills he can use that aren't shield-focused, roll the Alchemist from DDO into Magick Archer, give Warrior some wrassling moves, for example), less fluff like Salvation and all that noise (maybe the story is the Ur-Dragon has killed enough Arisens that the Seneschal wasted away with no replacement so the cycle is falling apart, and the universe has popped out a load of other dragons who are turning people into Arisens left and right in order to take down Urdy and reclaim the throne; this could also tie into multiplayer, and be a good excuse to bring Grigori's VA back), expand pawn copycatting, have their be a hidden boss that essentially is the brine and after you defeat the boss the brine disappears but then whenever you go into the water you drown because you never learnt to swim because of the brine.
Endless Tower.
The Moon.
Demiurge endboss.
less backtracking
or a horse or something that makes travel less tedious
It already exists
Weather effects.
a finished fucking game and a LONG GAME. shity sidequests don't count for play time. LONG UNIQUE CONTENT GAME.
>would
DD2 was released two years ago, idiot.
Would love to see a engineer vocation of sorts.
More playable races like in that concept art, especially if it affects gameplay like height and weight do.
>Magic sluts get a jet boost
This, please. Firing Focused Bolts while in the air already pushes you back a little, let me harness that recoil Capcom.
That spear is hot as hell.
A complete game. I fucking love this game so much, I want to enjoy the setting and abysmal turn of events at the half way mark in a finished product.
2pawn
Keep the dress for fashion aspect.
Noone wants to be forced into wearing generic shit armor because it gives good stats.
Why won't these fucks already nake a Kickstarter campaign.
It is like over due for years now. Use the fkn platform for what it is supposed to be used. Reeeeeeee
A not-shit game world
Fucking finish it this time
DD was a lovely, beautiful girl framework, but it's so incomplete
>moon
What?
DD 1 but finished and more stuff
>kickstarter campaign
or how about they just fucking use the money they made off of the FUCKING 3 (THREE) RE-RELEASES?
>MMO bullshit
Absolute shite.
While a great part of my love for Dragon's Dogma is its god-tier gameplay, I also liked the story and some of its NPCs, both for vanilla and BBI.
>devs are Capcom
Why would Capcom go to kickstarter?
Better pawn control.
More 'build'/skill options for classes, like debuff sorcerers as opposed to nuke sorcs and stuff like that.
Six skills for warriors. Mages that aren't sorc-lite.
More focus on dungeon-complexes like everfall and BBI.
Vanity and dyes.
Multiplayer
>this is a healer
I want a game based on the Avatar series with DD's animations and gameplay.
Just imagine Fire/Earth/Water bending in such a game.
More warrior skillslots
A slightly less barebones story
DMC armor/weapons
More big enemies
That crazy shit they cut from DD like underground and the moon
Maybe add a handful of set crystals to teleport to besides one at main hub
I would prefer a spiritual sequel based on the original concept. DD itself seems pretty much concluded with no room for a sequel, unless you're willing to bullshit the player or retcon stuff. Gameplay-wise I'd keep the fashion, keep the original classes, add more cool large-scale spells you can only use outdoors, add more moves and of course skill slots for warrior, make it so you can only use one pawn, either your main, or a hired one. Also one thing that could work is that instead of letting you rent your pawn, you let other players jump in and take control of the player's main pawn for a short time like to help you kill a boss or whatever at the cost of some RC. Or maybe let the original owner of a hired pawn to take control of any instance of it that he chooses, or even a random one that's in-game at the same time he's online.
Give Longsword users a Crossbow.
Give Shiled+Sword guys ability to throw their shield like Captain America.
God the shit I've seen in dragons dogma online near makes me weep. I just want it in English so bad. Dem fucking alchemists
>DD itself seems pretty much concluded with no room for a sequel
Not really, it's stated multiple times that there are many many other worlds, many many other dragons. It could still be DD, just in a different world. Hell, DDON is canon, it's just not the world of the first DD. Death, for instance, was an arisen from another world, as was Damion.
A story that deals with the consequenses of the Arisen from the first game deciding to break the cycle after becoming senshal.
Which reminds me, what the hell is the plot of DDO? Like why are there multiple arisen in the first place? Why are they taking orders from a dragon?
There's already an answer to that. It's called Offline Mode NG+
This a thousand times.
-I wasn't big on the shield worn on the back of the mystic knight swung over whenever you parried. I'd rather it be no shield or you swing the shield onto your back when you cast a spell, not when you are idle.
-Otherwise every class was done solid and I love eternally how sword and board was fun. Normally sword and board is the most boring and pure tanky experience but they made it engaging and active.
-Infinite dungeon with the endless tower.
-Coop where you are summoned as a pawn, perhaps as one of your pawns rather than as if you are the pawn
-I'd like to see mounted travel and combat.
-That Grigori fight was fucking gucci and the way fighting a dragon should be so more dragons to fight.
Gimme a sec to find it but the content they cut had us going to the moon and all sorts of crazy shit.
If this anime tier shit is what dd2 will be like then just cancel it
>Beyond this, Itsuno also outlined how Dragon's Dogma's world shrank during development. At one point it was twice as big as the final release, with a hang glider or kite used to travel to the more far flung regions. You were also able to travel to the moon, but the content was eventually cut thanks to budget restictions.
Ah I am wrong, nothing more crazy than the moon. But still. I love when the japs do ye old medieval fantasy. I swear they wipe the floor with us. Going to the moon is not really out of the question for ye old fantasy either. en.wikipedia.org

It's literally on DD Wikia and first google search anyways gonna upload those 3 images.
Also if you guys have time.
youtube.com
Nevermind some other user has uploaded Plans_3 up above.
So we're going plan 3-2-1 from top to bottom.
The DD we play pretty much ends at 30% of it's original idea.
That's non canon and isn't actually a breaking of the cycle. You pop a trophy for finishing the game that is called "Break the Yoke of Eternity". Lets see where that leads. I kind of expect something like the world starting to die and people going insane, ala Dark Souls. Already I almost consider DS2 to be something of a headcanon sequal to DDDA.
You can't state that it is non-canon because it's literally in the game. Need I remind you that Savan pulls the Godsbane from his chest, too?
The dragon of that world is benevolent or something and he protected the people of the world. Then some shit happened, I can't remember if it was another dragon or something else but he got fucked hard and started dying I think. So he went and created a bunch of arisen to help maintain the world. I THINK that's the story.
Did Dragon's Dogma make a profit? How many copies did it sell?
Okay from what I gathered from playing DDO and the translations from White Dragon Wiki, dragons in DDO can bestow their power onto mortals making them arisen(no idea the process, scar is still there so maybe involves dying or at least getting pierced?). The white dragon you are an arisen for is the benevolent protector/ruler/target of worship of your local city. Season 1 Spoilers Originally the dragon only had one arisen, the king of an ancient city who got manipulated by an Alchemist(Alchemy is banned/a lost art by the time of the game's start) who convinced him to be transformed by alchemy into a dragon and fight the white dragon. King/pawn loses, Alchemist gets sealed and the ancient city gets nuked into another realm but all this injures the dragon greatly and he begins to get petrified. You, the other arisen and the White Knights(non-arisen guardsmen) serve to protect the kingdom while your boss is incapacitated/recovering
The gods bane also killed him when put back into his chest, though.
What does it mean when a weapon won't show me what it requires to get enhanced?
I just have "???" instead.
Dragon's dogma 2
It means you have never encountered the item before.
youve never seen that material yet, i think
Well, shit.
I'm probably in a minority about this but I'd really like to see couch co-op where you can have your friends join in and play as the pawns.
>this is the shit monster hunter is slowly turning into
I just want a game with good story/world/lore like The Witcher 3, and with good combat like Dragon's Dogma. Why must we be teased by games that have one strong element without the other?
>the minority
>they made a fucking mmo out of it
>All classes returning + more skills
>More classes
>New region
>Different plot, same cosmogony/universe
>Level design with more emphasis on platforming and interaction and class skills that reflect it, E.g, an Assassin/Strider might be able to platform through areas whereas a Sorcerer might be able to create ethereal bridges. Similar to Golden Sun's psynergy puzzle designs.
Maybe not all in one go, but I'd rather DD stay dead than barely, or worse; never evolve and become these awful rehash franchises sold on name and misguided loyalty.
>mmo
>couch co-op
If I wanted online co-op I wouldn't have bothered to include the couch bit.
Better combat that's more focused on player skill.
gamespot.com
At least 2 million on console and according to Steamspy around 850k on Steam.
It was also a PS+ free game at one point, so it probably has an even larger established fanbase than these numbers would suggest.
I think I've heard that Capcom expected something absurd like 3 million sales (for a new IP!) because of DD's long development hell and rather large budget.
Their japanese devs, as long as the japanese players are content with just the MMO there will not be any new games.
Did that new project the creator of DD and DMC was talking about get announced yet?
More dragons and dogs.
nope.
possibly at tgs
more likely as psx
Well, here's to hoping.
>stopped DD's dev because "it wouldn't bring enough money"
>release an obvious cut game
>yet it was so good they managed to milk it during 3 console gens
>they will put it in a drawer and forget it
>meanwhile they're going to sink money on reboots no one asked for
capcom does its best to suck out the fun and hopes out of everything and I genuinely think they are worst than EA and activision
>inb4 delayed to e3 next year
>all these people wanting coop
Leave that shit out of DD2, they made DDO exactly for fags like you. Fuck off.
Despite what ancaps will tell you, capitalism doesn't work.
just a cinematic of the developers all being burned alive.
>they made DDO and will never release it in the west so fags like you will never get to play it
To the anons who play DDO, do you guys have any idea up to what level the Rookie's Ring of Blessing's double xp works? Last I could remember reading it was supposed to be 45 but I'm already level 58 and its still giving me double xp on monster kills.
If they want to keep the open world, I want to see mounts. Perhaps certain monsters can be tameable.
Just DDDA but with a more fleshed-out world. More locations/dungeons, more things to explore, maybe more side quests. My only real issue with the original was that its open world wasn't very well utilized. It was just too empty.
For it to exist at all within my lifetime.
For it to exist, I doubt capcom are working on MHW and another DD game at the same time given that they would both be pretty big projects
>Itsuno still hasn't announced what he has been working on
DD wasn't perfect by any means but I keep coming back to it since it seems like one of the few RPGs that nails character archetypes and how they feel
Mage and sorcerer might consist solely of holding down buttons for bars to fill but the fact that you're not shooting piddly little fucking fireballs automatically makes it more engaging than a lot of other open world RPGs
a full game with a really big budget spent entirely on development so that fucking around on the moon is a thing
No awful overworld, make entire game as tight and detailed as bitterblack.
Overhaul the stat system in its entirety, remove awful damage treshold system, give ability to manually level up your stats.
Overhaul the class system, allow more variety in terms of what you can equip both for equipment and skills.
Trash the horrible casting system, or at least give sorcerer more crowd control and fast attack options, try to move away from large casting times as much as possible, it doesn't suit the game.
Allow to set up FF12-like gambits for your own pawn.
Larger, more detailed world
More vocations
All that cool concept shit from DD
More skills/spells
More in depth char creation
Coop
More lolis
My man!
Boob physics
And dicks!
I think you meant butts, gayfag
Someone help I literally cannot stop casting high maelstrom
>Fight Ur-Dragon
>Take Sorc pawns with you
>Wait for Ur-Dragon to start casting Bolide
>Start casting Bolide
>Wait for pawns to piggyback on your casting
>????
Sadly I've only played the PS3 version so I don't actually know what comes next.
A good percentage of games should really be benefiting from free roam servers by now, especially good single player games.
Any here Arma WL? It's DayZ without zombies, with gear stocked in vehicles that are spawning in every city. The characters start with money, and there's a gun shop.. random medkits.. tanks/helicopters/gear spawning every 5-10m (in the form of flat-tire caravans, etc., guarded by AI).
I'm pretty sure it goes up to 60
>coop=MMO
No. Nobody asked for a fucking IP-locked, moon rune MMO. We just want 4 player co-op ala Monster Hunter.
>Is practically monster hunter already
>NO I DON'T WANT IT ITS NOT MUH DD
A lot of bitching about not getting what you want instead of accepting that they just don't give a fuck.
A gameworld that is actually worth a shit.
A low level mode of sort, with better stamina/food mechanics (no full refill on level up for one).
The "it" of this game was pretty much the low levels for me. The end game epic scale I found serviceable, but ultimately sterile by comparison (though it did produce some interesting meta-commentary stuff).
sex mods
Capcom aren't using MT Framework anymore are they? I thought they'd moved on to Panta Rhei, or did that fall through like Deep Down?
