I used to play this with a friend every weekend till mid night, I miss him

Playing the revive project just isn't the same anymore.

Remaster is long due

Fuck that, let's talk about our favourite Flash Games, you'll get more from that

I loved Stick RPG but never played the sequel because I'm not paying 20 fucking dollarydoos for it and I'm not playing a watered down free version either

Always got all them tower defence games too, even if all of them somehow lag even modern computers (Bloons is especially guilty of this)

Started playing that today. The weapons feel great and the level design is also great. I'm only really interested in the terrorist hunt though. I'm a bit disappointed that you can memorize the enemy placement of a map in just a few hours' worth of playing that map.

My second favorite FPS after original DOOM. Only played the original campaign and Battle Out of Hell though.

What are your thoughts on the stand-alone expansions? They're on sale this weekend and I have a couple bucks in my steam wallet.

With t-hunt you can cheese that slightly by playing with different amount of terrorists, that way you switch locations up a bit.

There is also a mod that enhances the enemy AI on moddb. You should really not be playing on hardest mode in vanilla because enemies reaction time is purely RNG at worst, insane at best. I say this as someone put probably 500 hours into that game over the years, online and offline.

Also, while t-hunt is fun the campaign is where the game truly shines because hostage rescue is the true meat and potatoes of the game. Creating a plan manually, setting up multiple point breaching etc. It's a great game really.

If you ever get sick of and decide you crave more, I honestly recommend going back a notch with Rogue Spear and its expansions pack. There is a fanmade compilation called R6 Black Ops that puts Rogue and all its expansions into a single campaign with fixed compatibility issues etc. It looks dated but its very fun and missions/maps are very interesting.

First one is criminally underrated.

If you're talking about Malleus' AI Mod, doesn't that only enhance friendly AI?

Stick RPG is one of my favorite flashes, I ended up finding a torrent for the sequel and its utter shite, so don't even bother.

As for the obvious ones: I played countless hours of Interactive Buddy, Mario Flash, and OG Pandemic

I actually completed it, it was an extremely broken, but still fun game. The best thing was how pineapples were more effective in healing than syringes.

Battlefield vietnam was my jazz, but im too tired to discuss shit. Playing as gook with respawn nd explosives near axis bases to boobytrap planes and watch americano explode was €€€

OPERATION IRENE IS A GO!

day of defeat was the best fps

DoD source was good too

fucking Irene

probably this one. i can't think of another. ut99 was better than ut2k4 so that's out of the question

Gunman Chronicles was great. Loved the environments and how varied the gameplay was. Pity I loaned my CD to a friend in 2002 and never saw it again.

Boiling point was a gud game desu

I miss split screen

yup, autism

Everything or Nothing, From Russia With Love and TWINE all are far superior tbqh famazepam

rainbow 6 vegas

kino

Thisthisthisthisthis. I still play it.

Holy fuck, did you get it for free with a laptop by any chance?

get this for a christmas present or something like that and it didn't even have splitscreen

Does Battlefield better than Battlefield.

>[sound of ps2 audio chip dying intensifies]

You have good taste user however the best fps from the 2000s is Timesplitters 2.

youtube.com/watch?v=YDb618RaBmo

Does this count as an FPS?

I agree with you about the game, but not your choice of picture.

That shit was so good. I loved how it would go from day to night.

never played it, no split screen is unforgivable

booh was amazing. Overdose was different but the quality and effort was there. There are a few fun levels and some spooky stuff. A couple of crappy levels. Every single expansion after that sharply drops off the quality Edge and are completely terrible. Please stop after overdose.

I AM COVERT OPS

Mein negers

What game is this?

If you didnt complete this on its hardest settings you're a faggot and I hate you.

soldier of fortune.

I never finished IGI2 back in the day. I remember getting stuck on some foresty level where your PDA/map thingy gets broken. Back then it looked absolutely amazing.

haha no.

Every time I try to play it I have heaps of fun but some bug stops me, or I die and realise I haven't saved for five hours.

this was such an awesome mulitplayer game. why didnt it take off the way it should have?

hammered my shitty gpu tho

what is this Delta Force?

Some day, I'll give this a go. It looks pretty interesting.

Project IGI.

Anyone played CS: Condition Zero? The campaign was awesome, my favorite one was the nuclear silo where you have to disarm the atomic bomb inside it.

yup, I liked it, deleted scenes was pretty funky and CZ as a multiplayer game was neat, people slated it for some reason though, probably because of the riot shield

Man, I remember having my ps2 hooked up to the home theatre system when my family got one, holy jesus wasn't that some shit mag dumping the ak or using the sniper

Played this all day for at least 6 hours a day from the day it was released as a mod until I graduated high school. I love this game.

it was my very first own CS game.
The fact that it "included" 1.6 was just a bonus.

why?

Something's missing. Just doesn't give that feeling anymore. I mean, what other game since then has made flying a fucking transport helicopter such pure fun? The only other game that managed to do that was Project Reality, and that is based on Battlefield 2...

Hory sheit man I can still remember some of the mission names, Marka Breakdown, Bandits Crossing, Operation Irene...
damn, this was a good game

i agree, the Billy mission's can be fucking tedious tho.

>do something retarded
>called out for it
>"i don't care"
The ultimate tard defense mechanism.

you tried Day of Infamy? its the cloest yet, better than the shitty source version

as much as I adore first two MOHs on PS1, and subsequent MOHAA, United Offensive was something else.

I remember having a weekend to myself with this and BoB boxset. I miss the time when video games where all I needed in life.

Holy shit, comanche was my jam.

JUST YOU AND ME MINER

>better than any fps before or after
>more maps/mods than any other fps
>if released today everyone other fps would die

>replaying this
>still enjoy the air boat section

The only real issues with it are it dragging on too long with you just driving forward through a swampy area. You have to dodge missiles from those Combine truck things multiple goddamn times and each one is just annoying. I still really like how the airboat controls (quick to start and drifty) and once you get the gun for it it becomes a ton of fun to drive and shoot with. Also the areas you have to stop and fight through are pretty well designed and fun. Found the starting sewers to be less fun honestly. Also I was shocked at how empty a lot of the environments are.

So is there a solid list of WW2 shooters out there? Every time there's a classic FPS game it's typically filled with less realistic FPS games, and older CoD's and more sim-lite ones go unmentioned.

Holy crap I haven't played Red Faction in years.
Also here's one of my own. Even though it's more melee based in terms of combat, it was a really good first person game

I liked Project: IGI

...

this game is amazing

I can't even count how many times I replayed the old CoDs and I still have an urge to replay them. UO was the shit.

neighbour had goldeneye for n64. so naturally excepted that every bond games has fun multiplayer to play

I'm a bit miffed with United Offensive for introducing the corridors of endless enemy spawns.
