How does your modded Skyrim look? Here's my Skyrim SE, and I am extremely pleased with it. I applied the mods including enb found here -

How can you play SE, when it doesn't have script extender? There are no meaningful mods without it.

I'd play SE but it has no MO and no SKSE.
I can forgive no SKSE as there are ways around it and people started figuring that out but the lack of a proper mod manager is killing me.

Here's a list of the mods I am using with SE

SE is so ugly no matter what you do to it

Looks pretty nice to me.

...

Not well, but that's because I do my computational computing on a toaster. My game actually looks a lot better on SE for me though. The 64 bit really helps. Too bad about SKSE64 though.

Ahaha, my friend from Australia made that ReShade/ENB preset. Why are you playing SE over regular Skyrim though?

The only advantage SE has over the original is the memory. The file saves from the last time I played Skyrim were over 27,000kb.

those blacks are terrible

They're called Redguards, user.

what's wrong with those shadows wtf

Comfy

>Special Needs edition

Lmao. No reason to play it since regular works just as good if you are not a win10 cuck.

Thats because you played with mods. The save filesize gets bigger the longer you lay it and mods add more stuff to the save faster than a game with no mods.

That looks disgusting, SE will remain forever useless until the script extender is released, which is probably never because Bethdesa constantly spits in the face of the reason people even buy their fucking games to begin with.

>those trees
>those textures
>that aliasing
>that LOD

Jesus fucking christ that looks awful.

m8 gimme the location on a map so I can do a comparison with my regular edition.

Unless they make Skyrim 2: Thuum Boogaloo, I don't see how they can top comfiness of tundra and warm hearths.

Looks better than the absolute shit that is vanilla but it's still not good.

wtf

I'm pretty sure SE has dyndolod, use it

Was this picture taken by a massive fucking fireball?

Depends on the time of day in-game so here's a few webbums showcasing some.

...

...

And night time.

looks like shit
what graphics card?

Why are ladders that hard, really?

...

Which daedra pissed all over Skyrim

They are completely feasible even with fallout 3 engine. Todd just does not want to add them because the AI pathfinding is shit. They cant even jump over tiny rocks for fuck sake

>DDR4-2400
hahahahahahahaha

MO 2 works with it, what are you talking about?

And what mods you want that need skse? Aside from sexlab framework, that is.

I feel like that just looks like vanilla

Looks great.
I don't care about your graphics card.

muh skyrim

To be fair, jumping looks awful.

...

...

...

...

to be fair, Bethesda animations in elder scrolls and fallout tend to look horrid. Not sure why they cant make good animations.

>going for looks instead of stability and gameplay improvements

SE is super stable

and gameplay mods are hard to showcase as pictures

yet to see an enb i like, sorry m8
colours are too vivid and i REALLY hate the 'blur everything that isn't in focus' effect

Isn't the lead animator some guy who failed animation classes and only got the job because he was Todd's friend? Pretty sure that was the case in Oblivion at least.

propably. I remember that every non story required dungeon in oblivion was designed by one guy too.

i agree. /vg/tards swear by ENB like it's the cure for their autism but ENB looks terrible. ruins the color pallette and either makes everything shiny/saturated or washed out/faded. ENB is an ugly filter.

>get a mod that makes kids look not like aliens
>plan on marrying a Skald
>one of the kids in the Skald village has the blackface glitch
Oh well, time to find a wife somewhere else.

...

a...user you shouldn't have

>can't marry maven blackbriar's qt niece despite the fact that she has a quest and everything

>inb4 mods
i have autism ok

Skaal, nigger

That makes sense as well.
Started a heavily modded playthrough of Oblivion recently with Better Dungeons and Snus' Dungeons and they are actually fucking great. Haven't had so much fun dungeon delving in a game in years.

I can't fucking remember what ENB I used on my last computer, but it looked beautiful to me.

Ingun? She was actually meant to be a marriage candidate along with Jarl Elisif and several others. Vivienne Onis, the alchemy shop chick in Solitude too.

...

That bothered me too.
It's like no matter what, they needed to make the Blackbriars as awful as possible.
Bethesda has grown decadent with their abuse of Essential characters.

I'm going to post some of mine.

I really want to get back into Skyrim.

...

>port skyrim to fallout4 engine
>dont fix weather & dynamic lights limits
>slap a piss filter shader

Toddss

Stop making me want to play Skyrim. I'm in the middle of playing Half-Life 2: Episode 2.

>playing without ENB
that looks like shit, you should really try an ENB, user

...

>slap a piss filter shader
You are you always lying?

What literal child made this image?

blame Todd insisting on the meme 11.11.11 release date. They had to cut shitloads of stuff from the game and Riften got hit the hardest.

>Jarl Elisef
Are you telling me that they planned to give the player the option of leading Skyrim as its king?

I dunno, I saved it ages ago.
It's a good point though. The annoying children are another abuse. Since they're invulnerable, Bethesda makes them as awful as possible.

>bloom not turned off
Sorry for your shit taste.

>It's a good point.
It's not though. Not being able to remove game content accidentally is an obvious design choice. They'd piss many more people off if the main quest line ended because you accidentally killed the last member of the Blades the first time you entered Riverwood. Whoever made that image is an idiot or a child.

is that vampire bridge
i see no reflections

>Whoever made that image is an idiot or a child.
Which means they are invulnerable and could therefore kick your ass.

>installed a shit ton of porn mods when i first got into skyrim modding
>decided I wanted to make my game look nice one day
>every time I try to put in nice looking textures my porn mods break
Its not even worth it in the end I only play maybe once every 2 months fap to some ugly stiff models then ragequit in disgust. idk how you guys are so dedicated.

I play SE. It's much more stable and there's really no need for skse for me anyway. SkyUI is the only necessity I needed and you can still use Sky UI 2.1 on SE.

ENB's are not as good as oldrim of course but SE is so much more stable and less of a headache. You have to spend hours getting oldrim to look good.

youtube.com/watch?v=UaB4m_0nTtA&t=109s

Perhaps. My assumption is that marriage was originally more elaborate and have fewer, more specific candidates. It is curious that both Elisif and Ulfric are single, but I can't recall if Ulfric was a marriage candidate as well.

Add to that, that the civil war was meant to be much more dynamic as well, with farm raiding, war logistics and sieges of all the major citie., Riften and Markarth included. It's not too far a fetch to say that you might have been able to marry the high king/queen.

It's not something I've dug into heavily myself, I just remember a couple of would-have-been candidates being discussed on the bethesda forum.

They also toyed with the idea of letting you marry Serana but decided to exclude her, as the involvement you have with her character would have basically made all other candidates wet socks in comparison. Also "muh independunt wumen."

You are modding SE wrong.

quite large

...

This all runs at 60 FPS and never crashes unlike the shitty original game which crashes if you blow on it too much and runs like complete garbage with an ENB.

>no matter how many mods you add to make the game visually impressive
>it still isn't fun

I have Skyrim sitting in my steam library for years and i never touched it, well i played around 1 hour and never touched it again.
I really liked Oblivion but for some reason i can't get into Skyrim, i'm not even sure why.

I really liked Skyrim but for some reason i can't get into Oblivion, i'm not even sure why... Oh wait, yeah I do, potato faces.

I'll get around to modding it eventually.

Also the whole wannabe LOTR feel bugs me.

hot opinion

That's a generally agreed upon opinion, my dude.

>install 20 mods that are supposed to make the game better
>play for 30 mins and never touch it again

maybe if you have a 1 GHz CPU and a GPU from 2000. maybe you should upgrade your toaster so you don't have to play the inferior version?

potatofaces are the best thing of the game you fucking retard

kys

only in this contrarian shithole

it has flaws for sure, but it's not the piece of shit it's made out to be here

>potatofaces are the best thing of the game you fucking retard
What did user mean by this?

this. I want to like it but it's just so boring. Maybe I'm just playing this game "wrong" so can anyone recommend any builds or a certain playstyle they had fun with?

i don't think it would be worth it. You can't like every game out there.

What? What the fuck is good about Skyrim you dumb normie?

The repetitive quests? The fiftieth dungeon full of Draugr? The generic magic items that add +10 to your magicka or deal a bit of extra damage? The fact that every single character in the game gleefully sucks your cock?

Seriously, what?

>tfw have 600 hours clocked in the game and want to play again but i only have a toaster and i really want to play with these ridiculously ultra realistic graphics

not him, but the general population talks about Skyrim as one of the best games ever made. I have no idea why, as I've seen "old school" gamers who loved Baldur's Gate, Morrowind and Ultima Underground love Skyrim above all. normies are fucking strange.
