Prime > 2D

Prime > 2D

Yes.

Both are great

...

Prime 1 anyway.
About equal with super, though, so really metroid=metroid, can work in 2 or 3 dimensions.

You know prime is a great game and all but you faggots need to fuck the hell off and let us have 2D games again, stop holding Metroid ransom.

You mean Nintendo?

Nobody asked for this 2.5D crap.

>just beat Spider Guardian in Prime 2

Agreed.

Though I do love me some ZM.

Castlevania > Anything metroid related

PRIME series are good games (even if 3 is pretty different direction) but 2d are better sorry lads mechanics just a lot better

So what do you want from Prime 4?

Also 3 > 1 > 2 > Fed Force > Hunters

I want it to be developed on better hardware, like a PC

You have exceptionally shit taste.

What I want is it to be 1 world again with some environments we haven't seen before. Maybe more open than the very room-based design of the Prime games but not full-blown open world.

1 > 3 = 2 > Fed Force >= Hunters

I'd agree with you if Hunters had better controls

>it actually continues both Prime 3 and Fusion and ties them together in a way that makes sense and doesn't feel forced but is ultimately still a game with a tight focus on gameplay and mechanics instead of trying to be as cinematic as possible

>Spider Guardian
>Hard
Bomb guardian was harder than that shit

It's hard if you struggled at it

>sky temple keys

...

I agree in the case of the original Prime, though it's not a huge distance in quality either. Once you through Prime sequels into the mix shit starts to even out.

>99.9% logbook scans, missing 1 scan besides the final boss ones
>it's one of the sky temple key entries that I didn't get because I found the key before the hint

bump

Why?

because vampires > space bugs

Super > Prime 1 > Zero Mission > Prime 2 > Metroid 2 > Fusion > Prime 3 > Prime Hunters >>>>> Other M

>Prime 3 first
Come on user, I'm also a Prime 3 apologist but it doesnt even come close to being the best of the three.

I wanna play with Light Yagami's head on Simon Belmont's body

I personally like Prime 3's areas and lore more but I can agree that the exploration and level design is much better in 1 and 2

Where's Metroid 1?

2D >>>>>>>>>>> Prime

This

Nobody asked for Prime 4, the Prime series was better off ending at Prime 3.

I like both
I prefer 2D though

We're getting Metroid 5.

>Nobody asked for Prime 4, the Prime series was better off ending at Prime 3.
I feel the prime series still has much to offer, ignoring the fact that the Phazon plot is indeed closed. Should we have gotten Prime 4 over another non remake 2d game at this moment? Probably not.

Both are good. Prime 1 is a 3D translation/homage of Super in many ways.
It recycles a few areas, while adding new ones.

Crateria = Tallon IV surface
Orpheon Wreck = Wrecked Ship
Norfair = Magmoor Caverns
Impact Crater = Tourian Entrance

Agreed, but I'm not worried about Metroid 5. I give it 2 years and it will be on the Switch. See
