Corsair Sabre based solely on feel and how it moves across a surface. Never got the chance to actually use it for games or just daily use.

Been using a g502 for a couple years. The free scrolling stop working in a satisfactory manner about 2-3 months into use. Now the button that you press to engage that... gets suck quite often and the scrolls, in free scrolling or tactile, don't all register.

I forgot to mention I've disliked the feel of the tactile scrolling on the g502 from the beginning.

I can use my G500 with only my fingertips just fine, but if you want something smaller, maybe the razer naga?

I had to retension the spring on the left button on my G700s after about a year of use, and now the right button is getting loose too. Also the sliders on the bottom keep coming off, so YMMV.

Razer is a meme because they have no sense of aesthetics and their products are marketed to 12 year olds who love green neon lights and tribal tatoos.
Some of their shit is alright though.

Logitech g403 is cheap and pretty good.

Corsair M65 has done me well, I've always felt that I just needed one more button on the mouse and the "sniper" button fits the bill, giving my index, middle finger, and thumb all some ability to provide input.

Careful on the mouse wheel though, the shaft is plastic, rather than metal so it can sheer.

Is there a version of this with side buttons? I can sacrifice a lot but I find that side buttons are pretty useful. My g400 from 2012 is finally trying to give up the ghost and I want something similar to replace it without spending an arm and a leg.

I went from a high DPI gaming mouse, to a cheap 1000 DPI one, and I'm seriously thinking about wasting a bunch of money again on a short lived mouse.

I use it for gaming primarily yes, but with the selectable O-T-F DPI it's suitable for a myriad of tasks.
