In light of Sonic Mania's success, what retro revival of a 90s brand would you like to see?

Dungeon Keeper.

...

that and MDK
fuck, every Shiny franchise

I don't know who I'd trust to remake Jim, though. Having its own Christian Whitehead seems a little too hopeful.

>Dungeon Keeper.
The monkey's paw already heard your wish.

On a slightly related note, is war for the overworld any good?

'80s plz.

Doubtful Earthworm Jim will come back. They had a Kickstarter a few years ago, but was cancelled when the creator when on a rant on homosexuality.

You're thinking of the Boogerman kickstarter

You've got your facts all mixed up. There was a BOOGERMAN kickstarter, Jim was later offered as a bonus second player, but it didn't matter because nobody likes Boogerman comparatively. Doug Tennappel's beliefs had nothing to do with that Kickstarter failing.

And as for this rant on homosexuality, everyone seems to say this, but nobody can ever provide a source. So maybe don't just regurgitate shit like that.

My favorite game won't ever get a sequel. The original studio has already been disbanded.

NO

That Wii one didn't count.

Jazz Jack Rabbit

>there's actually a movie coming out next year

Hope about the dozens of other Sega IPs?

Man I hope not. There is a 0% chance that Hollywood "gets" Rampage. Bet it's going to be edgy as fuck or something.

None. None at all. The Master System was my first console. Judging by the last 15 years, it is save to say that Sega will never bring back any of our beloved series.

Thank goodness Streets of Rage already got its own fan revival of sorts. Too bad about the C&D though. More people really should have played SORR.

silent scope

Blaze is one of the best female Protagonists desu.

The Kart-Racing genre.

And yet so little decent fanart.

It's still alive and well, user.

>just Mario Kart and some shit on mobile
Yeah no.

this wouldn't fly in the US today. you might as well have an arcade cabinet where you pull the gun out of a backpack

>it's true
what the fuck

CRRRRAZY TAXI
YA YA YA YA YAAA

Fuck the tournaments arc, I wanna go back to Na Pali.

my nigga
I played the shit outta that game.

Isn't the IP as well as a bunch of others from Interplay for sale right know?
I wish I had money to invest. I'd buy them up and pay promising indie teams to make new quality titles on the cheap.

> infects a gorilla, alligator and wolf with a serum that will cause rapid growth and induced rage.
>Peyton spoke about the film that it would "be a lot more emotional, a lot scarier and a lot more real than you'd expect."
i mean i should expect it to be shitty, but come the fuck on

the only way a franchise could get a mania-tier game is if the fanbase is autistic enough to reverse engineer the games and make their own mods by scratch
only the doom community is capable of doing that besides the sonic one
