oh trading in?

> oh trading in?
> for 15 xbox 360 games, you'll get $8 off your next purchase!

Don't forget to pre-order every single AAA game that's coming out soon!

i believe you mean i'll get like 3 cents off my next purchase

Preorder the new Call of Duty for $140!
Power to the gamers bro!

if you are dumb enough to go there, you deserve to get ripped off

is gamestop on its last leg bros?

You hope so

>gamestop in 3 years

>it's another shit-tier midnight launch episode

More like

Wait, gamestop still sells games? They've mostly been merchandise and those shitty funko pop figurines

> going to midnight launches
It's like you were dropped on your head

>Oh, trading in?
>For 50 PS4 games I won't spit in your face!

>that one local independent game store
>you can get good prices when you sell games there
>it even got featured for a tv news program when the NES Classic was announced
>went out of business a few months ago

Life is unfair sometimes.

Is there any actual way to get not shit money for our used games? I have like 150 PS3 games and about 80 Xbox 360 games that I'd like to get rid of for money. But it doesn't seem worth the hassle if i'm going to get like less than 5 €/$/£ for each game.

eBay

Would it be better to sell them individually or as a huge set of games?

I have one of those. They routinely break street date and sell games the moment they get their hands on them. I have no idea how they keep getting away with it.

Probably easier to sell them all as a job lot than making a listing for every single game. Just remember to set a reasonable minimum price so you don't get screwed over.

>haven't bought a single thing from my EB Games since I moved to based PC

fuck that overpriced garbage

You can get full price by simply not buying them in the first place.

You don't want them anyway so just cut out the middleman and never buy them.

Or grow out of consoles and you don't need to buy anything.

>go to midnight launch for Pokémon sun and moon because gf is a fan of Pokémon
>man children everywhere
>Doritos and the smell of piss and dried semen in the air.

These are old games from last gen. I don't really play games anymore. I just read about them on the internet.

>grow out of consoles
>grow out

How dirty is your beard, and does it go between your tits or just over them?

>it doesn't seem worth the hassle if i'm going to get like less than 5 €/$/£ for each game.

Throw them in the trash like a true american if you can't stomach the time it takes to sell them on Ebay. No 360/PS3 game is worth more than 0 to 8 bucks.

honestly how do they stay in business?

even the most casual of casuals can just order stuff online these days.

i've never heard anyone actually enjoy going to gamestop in recent years. personally, i would stop in during the ps2 era to browse used ps1 games if i happened to already be out doing something, but they don't even have older games or good prices on used stuff anymore.

>mfw literally only place to buy vidya in this town is an EB Games and the Walmart
>only other option is an hour and a half drive to the city
>even then still big box stores other than one
Pain in the ass, but at least our EB games is decent since the people there actually know their shit and are friends of mine. Also for some reason this EB gets more 'rare' stuff than it really should for being a shop in a small town. Keep going there to pick up a game that is sold out everywhere else and they have like multiple copies of the limited editions or whatever version it is.

SHhhhhhh don't tell him that. He clearly doesn't know,

you have to cheese the 8 dollars out of him.

normies still walk into gamestop and buy games. I mean seriously in my area there's no mom and pop video game shops. it's all gamestops. where else you gonna buy games from a retail store?

Never forgetti

of course not. Plus you guys give it free advertising all the time

>mfw
>no face
???

>want to pick up my game at midnight
>told since the game is 100% sold out, they dont see an issue with a midnight launch
>manager is asked
>he says no because he will be in las vegas and he doesnt want to miss any midnight launches because of some obscure stat
fuck him

>trade in your Xbone plus 25 games from our trade list and get 50 bucks off when you buy a used PS4!
Where do they find all the retards that trade their shit at gamestop?

> tfw traded in Ratchet and clank last week
> got $12 for it

i traded persona 3 san andreas and crazy taxi to buy dusk. hopefully its good

>Go to the Crash early release at 9PM on the night before release
>See fat guy rushing to the door to beat others inside
>Leaves girlfriend outside
>I decide to be a gentlemen and hold the door
>She says thank you and then loudly says "BECAUSE MY BOYFRIEND IS RUDE"
>I walk to the back of the store as fast as possible
>Manchildren everywhere
>Same fat guy is waiting right up against the counter and saying "There should be a countdown for this"
>9PM comes, I get my game and leave.

Amazon has a bulk listing tool that just lets you enter all the games and prices into a spreadsheet and upload that. I used it to list my friend's old game collection.

What movie?

Honestly isn't actually that bad anymore. I got $17 just from selling the ds version of New Super Mario Bros

You did make sure the door didn't hit your fedora on the way out, right?

>Can I interest you in a GameStop credit card?
>APR is only 30%!

I seriously doubt it, that's what it goes for on ebay.

Last one I went to was for the Switch. It was alright.

Don't like what they're offering? Don't take you fucking retard.

It's kinda decent money for Xbox 360 games in the current year, it's gonna be nearly impossible for them to resell them. Specially if they are games you don't find value in, like some random outdated capeshit or sports game

I have no idea why the even take in madden/fifa games that are at least a year old. They're never going to sell them.

>2017
>Gamestop

Stop

>mom makes me trqade in all my games every time i wanted new stuff
>made me trade in my snes and all my games to get a gamecube
>got 17 fucking dollars for it INCLUDING THE GAMES
>years later a snes with games is $200+

Gamestop will be this in a few years

No complaints, TRU is fucking great.

how do you get a SHIPMENT of USED games again?
