Gigginox has too much downtime even compared to Khezu, be it laying bombs meaning you have to get away from him, doing on wall shooting or that ceiling swipe attack. Also poison and his nigger form are other pains in the ass.

I still found it to be a much more exciting fight than Khezu, and Gigginox fits the theme of "blind cave monstrosity" a whole lot better. Something that was specifically designed for that aesthetic vs. a Gen 1 wyvern reskin isn't really a fair comparison. The giggi eggs made for a pretty neat gimmick as you then had to split your attention between that and the monster itself and its enraged state was, in my opinion, pretty neat.
Being a tri-bab, I was pretty excited to finally fight a lot of the monsters from previous gens, but Khezu was by far the most boring fight ever. No music, nothing really interesting, just an eel with limbs that screams a lot.

The thing that makes him annoying is there are large amounts of time where you can't do much against him. When he's chaining screams you can't do anything, same when he's on the ceiling. I still find him one of the easier ones and there are many others I'd be much more upset with.
