Wow so they changed the title just due to the localized american title? Originally it was just Legend of the Holy Sword 2. I suppose it's fine as long as they keep that part, it only adds to the game's mystique to its Japanese players to see the alternate US title too.

The series became "Mana" internationally after Legend. Ports of the old games have their localized title alongside them to keep the unifying "Mana" name.
