It was their last solid album I feel. Americana and beyond have a different sound that doesn't gel with me. Smash and self titled are great but I'll always have a soft spot for ixnay because of crazy taxi.

I think Ignition was their best actually.
I agree they started to go down starting with Americana. Ixnay was the album were they shifted from that sad/emo style to a faster, more fun type of music.
I always though the BR songs they picked for the game weren't the best ones. Most stuff from Suffer, No Control or Against the Grain would have fit better with the faster and angrier tempo.

but the CT1 and 2 songs from them are actually like all great
still mad that CT1 didn't pick songs from a better Bad Religion album than The Gray Race

really, all of the ports are pretty playable, and it's only the PC versions and later ports that fuck with the music and branding
I played the jank-ass PSP port of Crazy Taxi with No Control playing and it fits like a glove.

but IIRC there's no way to reinstate the branding, and that pisses me off

I heard the first version of Crazy Taxi on PC is terrible, and I'm not talking about music only.

IIRC, you can do it to reverse too, but I can't really get it down for whatever reason.
the rest is just game knowledge, like knowing where certain customers tend to take you, knowing which sections will trap you in a bad set of stops, having a route planned out at all, etc
