>Puzzle Fighter gets a new instalment, but it's mobage
>El Shaddai actually gets a sequel, but it's now an SMT clone set in Tokyo with generic anime JRPG art-direction
What else this year?
>El Shaddai actually gets a sequel, but it's now an SMT clone set in Tokyo with generic anime JRPG art-direction
Another person played this besides me.
The art looks like those chinese knock off games you see in the app store
for me, the Secret of Mana remake
>mobile graphics for some reason
>most likely not bothering with the cut content from the planned cd version
>no Switch version
>mobile graphics for some reason
*PST*
its the mobile version
Gee, I wonder if it's because they may or may not be outsourcing this to a Chinese Developer since those fuckers excel at making Mobage Cashgrabs since that's CLEARLY what this is?
Yeah. it's fucking sad.
the art was what elevated capcom to great heights in the first place.
It was capcom art that got me started on collecting art books back in the day even. I don't think I will be paying 40 bucks for art looking like this, ever.
I had to do a double take, because I could not believe El Shaddai of all things got a sequel.

From the news I read about it though, it says it's a spin-off starring Lucifel.
>The new mobile version was built from the ground up by Capcom Vancouver, and it looks like there are many more characters from the Capcom universe to unlock. The game was available to play on the show floor at the Camcom booth, and some eager gamers gave it a try.
>built from the ground up by Capcom Vancouver
How to not make me instantly care about anything made by Capcom: the keywords
See, I'm not sure I understand the hatred for 'mobile graphics.' It seems like just about every dumb mobile game I see has great 2D art.
Capcom is almost as bad as EA
They killed a lot of Japanese talent, and replaced it with nothing.
>Occult magazine writer Hayato Ibuki was chasing the story of the suicide a person who jumped in front of a train in Shinjuku Station. In the middle of his pursuit, he falls onto the platform as if he was pushed by a mysterious black shadow. A mysterious, beautiful woman named Barcia (voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro) saves him by the skin of his teeth, and hands him a suitcase. It was a Pandora’s Box that should not have been be opened. Inside was the “Demon Gun Gangour,” a tool that can capture and enslave demons and fallen angels. Using this ability, Hayato successfully took on his own demon subordinates. Together with a woman named Rua (voiced by Rikako Yamaguchi), who calls herself an angel, Hayato will pursue the mysteries that occur in various places and find the beautiful woman who gave him the suitcase.
Assuming it gets a Western release, I'll get it since I liked the original and love SMT, but I'm not entirely happy about the shift in art style.
Also why do a lot of JRPGs seem to have a character who's a journalist working for occultist publications? Are they actually much of a thing in Japan?
is this gonna have some gatcha mechanincs or can I actually play this?
>expecting an honest game experience from Mobile.
Pocket Fighter just turned 20 years old.
Rip good old games.
>Puzzle Fighter gets a new instalment, but it's mobage
Where else was it going to go? Tile Matching games are dying on console. Handheld & Mobile is the only place it thrives. Mobile more so. Puzzle Fighter has a niche audience & probably would've underperfomed
>What about the Switch, its a Handheld/Console Hybrid
Like I said, Niche title, underperform. Capcom would need even lower expectations than they had for USF2.
looks sketchy to say the least
So when does this drop? Im over pad and i need more puzzle shit.
WOW! There are now TWO upcoming games that feature Dante!? Devil May Cry fans sure are lucky!

Makai Wars finally revealed as a mobage that's looking like it's gonna be a gachafest.
