how do accurate video game shadows even work? It sounds so strange and unreal that they can calculate a dark projection of your character opposite to a light source. It sounds way too complicated to me.

>low
>medium
>MAX

>enter settings
>you can adjust only 2 or 3 different things like shadow/texture/effects quality

thanks, console scum

>AA has like 10 options

WHICH ONE Is THE GOOD ONE?

>have to go to the main menu to change settings

>Every time you change the quality of something you have to restart the game
>It only registers one change at a time

>enter settings
>you can only adjust volume

>The fucking FF ports

>Must restart game to take effect.

What is Every Multiplat Game ever

Not a game developer, but I imagine that they just reflect the model onto the plane, make it completely black, and set it to interact with light sources.

At least that's what I think, you should Google it.

>resolution looks like < THIS > instead of a dropdown or slider

matrix algebra

>none/low/medium/high/ultra/OP

Name one game

It was doing that the first time I played Sims 3.

>Everything but resolution change requires a game restart
>It only recognized one change at a time
>ended up taking 15 minutes just to get the game configured
>It ran like ass anyway because of poor coding

>low / medium / high / DUDE WEED LMAO

Sims 3 was a mess, but I don't remember it behaving like that. But im not sure though, maybe I just didnt notice it.
My computer was a toaster, so I just run that shit on low and went on with it

absolutely digusting

>Graphical setting:
>High / Very High / Ultra / Extreme
>There's no low or medium

Can one of you techfags explain what anti-aliasing is for a retard like me? It's something about making textures less blocky, right?

It smooths out edges.
