Billy looks ugly as fuck, but I don't mind as much because the game is first-person.

What I DO mind is how the Lore will be affected in this game. They had something with a lot of potential in D1, D2 took a big mistep with the Outsider and I fear this game will make it even worse.

what settings are you guys running? there is literally no reason to go higher than "high" because the game looks identical aside from VERY minor shadow differences and certain water reflections. ultra does nothing but eat fps.

The thing is, when I lowered the graphics settings to low, i had the exact same FPS

He's old, I guess, and it seems to be based on a completely different set of powers (corvo's and emily's powers all filled the same roles pretty much)

I guess we'll see about this when it comes out, i'd rather play as Daud myself, since he's a cooler character, but if Billie powers are cool and they try to flesh her out more, i might give it a chance.

DotO is basically a standalone DLC for D2, and you play as a character who's already been introduced in D2 and revealed to be involved with the death of the Empress, the major plot point of D1. It's there to fill in the gaps about Daud and the nature of the Outsider. It's not like they invented some SUPA STRONG black woman character the other day and are now making the entire series about her and how she's the real chosen one and the most important character. This is just a side story in the Dishonored universe. Get over it.

Corvo does not have his mask at the beginning of the second game and will remain mask-less while turned to stone. From a lore point of view, Corvo's mask was made in order to strike fear, conceal his identity and also function with a telescopic sight. He gives up on it once shit's over. For the entire second game, Emily's face is concealed in order to hide her identity. Daud, in comparison, never wore a mask.
It is not shoe-horning, it's merely attire of choice. Corvo wears a mask in order to conceal his identity and scare people. Emily is masked because she needs to conceal her identity, with no actual function. Daud and Billie, however, do not wear masks.

ran fine on my 970 but i used custom settings and not the presets. used a mix of high and a few mediums. got some drops in specific places but overall it was nice. look up comparisons because like it has been mentioned many settings have no discernible difference beyond high.

Consider 1060 is a mid-tier 1000 series card, though. I think they went overboard with the recommended CPU - i7-4770.
