I only watched the anime and it's absolutely astonishing to me how anyone can approach this story like a mystery. It's a silly LN-type story with zero grounding in reality even before all the supernatural shit (which may or may not be real).

Umineko is the most mixed of mixed shit, but if you did not like the first episode, I would suggest you to stop.

Nothing will ever beat getting trolled by Beatrice at the end of episode 3. Battler slowly realizing that something's weird, Ange interrupting the ceremony, Beato trollface... That shit was the best.
