And, that's the fucking point, just like the walking talking Napoleon complex who constantly gets put in second or third place that tries to follow Goku. "Perfect" Cell if far from it, he is an egotistical man child who baby rages when he gets bested by the son of his greatest rival, its a huge slap in the face for fags who try just a little too hard. But then again no one expects subtlety from a anime/manga creator.

Also I wouldn't expect you fags to understand your not supposed to like the villains nor should I expect you to understand that a well designed creature will be trumped by a short hard for powerful like how he does every fucking bad guy with multiple forms. Especially when is a "Saiyan" so he'd be willing to fight without needing to be convinced because of the thrill of fighting strong opponents

It's really neat concept now but it wasn't really intended to be that way by Toriyama.
Originally he just made Imperfect Cell and that was it. Then his editor told him that he was way too creepy for the series so he came up with Imperfect Cell.
After that chapter came out his editor told him that Imperfect Cell looks like shit so he came up with Perfect Cell which he liked.

It was a similar thing with the Androids.

Boss starts out fucking massive, and goes on for multiple phases, the final phase having the boss compressed down to your size, for the illusion of an equal fight.

Yes. Cell's been dead, while Frieza was brought back and could rival SSG, then got even stronger in the after life. Cell is not SSG level. If Frieza never came back to life then Cell would be the better choice.

The only reason I don't absolutely hate Frito's new gold form is because of the whole "he was so strong without ever having to do anything. He was just born that strong, a prodigy, so if he actually tried to train he could become extremely powerful" makes sense, barely, but I can deal with it

Cell gets zenkai boosts too thanks to being part Saiyan. He could have easily reached the current Super power level with a decent amount of training. Of course, this is assuming Goku and co would be cool training the guy. His character interactions would be great though, would have been nice to see how disappointed he would be with Gohan.

The Roshi episode was pretty good though, Krillin got shat on worst of all. But seeing the Androids be badass and not waste the fact they have infinite stamina are a few redeeming qualities of Super. Good nostalgia was that Arale episode and when Krillin saw all the people who killed him

If I could redo time, the first form would have become the second form. There'd be a new, smaller, spindlier looking form that was physically weak that would be the new first form. And the final form would resemble Imperfect, but with the black accents, and the mouth replaced with a sort of transformed Cooler aesthetic.

I always found Perfect Cell to just be Freeza #2, after Toriyama gave up trying to please everyone and just went to the same tired cliche because he knew it'd be accepted.

The one thing I did sort of like about his transformation is that prior to that, he looked sort of normal, but his muscles were really fucked up looking. So you couldn't tell if it was a style thing, or if he was actually messed up.

He originally was meant to be this bizarrely, completely white figure with a hint of purple accents here and there. The way he's drawn nowadays, especially gold, messes that up.

Either way, the way his biology works, if he got stronger, he either should have lost the need to be in his first form, or gained another, weaker form to conceal his new power even further.

Would have been interesting to see him walking around in his old second form, like his father, because he no longer needed the original.

Yes it is absurd because evil beings don't keep their body. They even mention that Frieza is an exception because he has so much resentment towards Goku and he with a body couldn't do anything beyond image training to control the stamina loss.
