With my smaller hands, I actually really love the comfort of the joycons in the grip. The smaller thumbsticks actually feel a lot more natural than the alternatives.
Only downside is the stick-thin L/R buttons.

That actually makes them worse. It's not the width that's the issue, it's the length and how condensed everything is to accommodate handheld mode.

I don't understand how a 6 hour battery life is bad. The system comes with a charging cable and you don't have to buy a cradle or rechargeable batteries.

Why bother having a wireless controller at all if the battery doesn't last very long?

I like the newer xbox controllers a lot, d-pad and sticks feel much nicer, 360 just has a more comfy body

They're good when attached to the screen or held separately like that so I can be lazy and have my hands apart, but my left Joy-Con is fucked and doesn't work properly. the shell makes them uncomfy. The pro controller is good but why was it $100?

Xbox One controller is even better my friend.

It doesn't even last 6 hours in my experience. I just have mine wired in all the time.

They are not as comfortable sideways, I can say that, but both joycon in each hand is perfect.

Getting to the D-Pad can be a real pain in the ass, but playing games with my head resting on my left fist while my right hand rests in my lap is comfy as fuck.
