I bet nothing happens when you jump and press the circle button
You can skate on the train tracks and go fast as shit. It's fun.
The first Sly Cooper was meh.
2>3>1=4
This or the pirate levels in 3.
At first this level scared the shit out of me, but it quickly became based
>Mesa City
Almost perfect, ruined by driving minigame.
Post your favourite levels from each game.

Vicious Voodoo

He Who Tames The Iron Horse

Flight of Fancy

Of Mice and Mechs
OP has based taste. I loved that level because you could ride around all of the tracks, and jump across to other ones as you passed them. The jacking the trains were also brilliant fun. Go West Young Raccoon tried to pull something similar off but it wasn't as good, I feel.
Go West Young Racoon was okay. Sly 4 was okay, but a lot of the dialog was sub par. Gameplay was great though.
1 and 2Holland is definitely the best in 3
Go West Young Racoon was my favorite in 4, playing as Kid was fun
I'm still gutted that we didn't see anything of Clockwerk in the story. It was right up for grabs with a plot travelling back in time, but they don't even touch on the fact that each and every one of these ancestors (except maybe Bob?) will be killed by the same person. The cameos are cool though
Best one? Too hard to say.
Worst one? Probably 3's Rumble Down Under
Next Sly when?
These

Sunset Snake Eyes

The Black Chateau

Dead Men Tell No Tales

Never finished past the Tennessee's level, have to try again one day.
I thought the final level was worse because of all the stupid minigame shit they threw at you.
>mfw the stupid angler fish boss
>Rumble Down Under
>worst
The last level was the worst in 3.
No word on a new game, searched high and low for any info this morning. They are developing a show though.
>They are developing a show though.
RIP in peace Sly Cooper
F
It's by the same dudes from the Sonic Boom show, if that helps.
That's better, but I'm not sure if that bodes well for the series. Then again the franchise has practically been on ice for 12 years so that's better than nothing.
While I don't completely disagree.
I thought Rumble Down Under was very boring and not as well thought out as the other ones. I just wanted to get that one over with so I could move on.
Did you forget about this, user?
If the show's successful it might get someone working on a new game. And it has a shot, since it's being made by the same guys that did the Sonic Boom show.
If they do make another Sly, I wouldn't mind Sanzaru doing it again. It's clear that they had a passion and understanding for the subject matter, even if the game fell flat at times, especially the final boss (still better than 1 imo).
>didn't release in 2016 as initially stated
>almost certainly won't release this year
>no release date for the foreseeable future
I wanted to forget.
Rumble Down Under kind of bothered me because it had me go from being a gentleman thief to a mass murdering eco terrorist.
2>4>3>1
Fixed
Well, it's officially cancelled so don't worry about it.
I usually hate snow biomes but this was pretty damn enjoyable
>1 worse than 4
nah
1 is outdated just as Jak and Daxter 1 and Ratchet and Clank 1.
4 at least have some variety and new game mechanics
You don't understand, they saw they couldn't make a movie so they chose to make a series instead
I love 1, but come on. It does nothing better than 4 apart from the main villain/final boss. It's incredibly basic whilst 4 builds upon on the series in everything from the playstyles to the environments to the characters.
4 would have been better than 3 but it had shit dialog.
It definitely was weird. I mean sure the miners were assholes but they were still just miners working for their paychecks, no reason to feed them to crocodiles and shit.
Also all the character models look fucking ugly. Who the fuck thought the left was an okay model.
They just wanted to drink their lemonade.
>1: Tide of Terror
>2: He Who Tames the Iron Horse
>3: Dead Men Tell No Tales
>4: Go West Young Raccoon
I love ships and trains. Why are no other series as imaginative as this? Almost makes me want to dig for other games since I've seen everything Sly has.
Maybe MediEvil? What other games are there?
Obviously Jak&Daxter and Ratchet&Clank, the other two to Sony's mascot trio.
The diamond in the rough I'd suggest though is Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, especially the second game. It's certainly imaginative. I mean, your main weapons are boomerangs with different powers.
From last thread
Ty actually looks good, I'll play a bit tonight. I played most of the other ones. Thanks!
These have been around forever, but I can never remember who made them. Sad.
