Got the EA version...

Got the EA version. Is it worth messing around with it to figure out some viable builds or should I go in completely blind? Should I play as an origin character?

I don't know why you'd bother selecting the Origin characters. Every single one is recruitable at Fort Joy and all you miss out on is some basic tutorial dialogue they have on the starting ship. Even as a companion, they can be swapped to during dialogue and be used to enter dialogue exclusive to them.

>I don't know why you'd bother selecting the Origin characters
So you can roleplay as them.

You couldn't wait one week? You're just going to have to start over. Jeez.

Good to know. I think I'm planning on rolling a party like

Human: Battlemage
Sebille: Ranger
Fane: Conjurer
Red Prince: Witch

Go blind since release is right around the corner.

>Week of release
>I'm in work 11-5 every day EXCEPT Thursday where I'm in 9-6
FUCK OFF

You can just change the human origin to be a battlemage. You get extra speech options and a more engaged story, I think

Do you know if there will be a battlemage companion/origin?

You can change any characters class if you're making them the player character. And since classes are just your starting skills, you're not tied down to one. I picked battle mage for him because you start dual wielding then I gave him hydromancy

Achtchually
You only get to the ultimate end of their personnel quests if you play as them

Its worth it fucking aboot a bit in EA
Figuring out the systems is important if you wanna play any non easy difficult

Time warp is strong, ap builds are strong. Combine the two and wreck shit. Elves with sacrifice flesh are a little OP if you can get over being a tree hugging knife ear fuck.

I played the first one will I be okay?

If you're gonna do your first playthrough on Tactician, then it's worth it so you won't have to spend the first few hours getting BTFO then have to remake your build.

And enjoy it while you can, they're (rightfully) gutting AP builds in the final release.

You should be fine. The only major change is the implementation of a new armour system that essentially serves only as a secondary health bar that needs to be broken before you can apply stuns and other abilities.

I've beat the EA version multiple times and the first game on honour mode yet I'm still worried about playing DOS2 on Tactician
It seems a lot harder

Fine by me I suppose since it won't matter too much. I dislike them removing cheese but given there is a pvp aspect to the game now it makes sense. If it was strictly single/coop and not pvp based I'd say they should keep it in for the fun factor.

>AI 2.0 no longer falls for endless corner baiting

I dont know why they keep fronting that blonde in the robe like shes sa follower when shes not. Probably isnt even in the game

She is in the game. She's the leader of the enemy faction in the EA part of the game.

>cheese
NOT IN THE MOOD FOR CHEESE? THAT EXCUSE HAS MORE HOLES IN IT THAN THIS SLICE OF FINE GORGONZOA

Dont be undead on your first game. Its meant for second playthrough

>second playthrough
What's that?

>Game is supposed to be an RPG
>Its built around pre established characters you pick from

Reminder: play on tactician.

Have you tried going to work in full larping gear and revolt in the name of the king?
Maybe that works idk

you need to play the game at least 6 times to get t

diversity original racemixing
