I have the impression that people on the bus are more prejudicial than people on a waiting room. Don't know why, I guess bus rides are more stressful and it seems easier for people there to think "shit, look at that nerd faggot with his nintendo". Phone games, at least turn-based ones, used to be designed for 1 hand input while holding the phone vertically. Then a lot of people started treating phones as their main entertainment machine and now every other game is made to be played with both hands while holding the phone horizontally. Even the fucking turn-based games.

I play 3DS purely for the games, not for any need to be playing while I'm on the go. So I just play on it when I'm home. Maybe if I had to travel a lot for a job and sleep in hotels and shit I'd take it with me.

Nope. Had a sweet NES-themed 3ds that my gf gave to me, then sold it a few months after we broke up, but I wish I hadn't now because of the new Metroid game on the way.

Oh well.

But to answer the question, aside from not having the capability to play in public, no, no I would not. Not because I think it's shameful, or neckbeardy somehow, but because I like being a bit aware of my surroundings, and games totally draw me in and take me out of the world, so that is no bueno to me.
