N64 launch because fucking N64
actually N64's lineup was pretty bad outside of Pilotwings and Mario. They actually had Mortal Kombat on the list. For god's sake.

again name a better launch

PS2 or Dreamcast, even the SNES had a better launch

Enough with the buyer's remorse, already.

There's literally no reason to buy one if you have a PC.

Xeno2 and Mario Odyssey as exclussives in the first year already make it a way more interesting first year than whatever there was in

>ps4
>xbox one
>wiiU
>ps3
>xbox360
>wii

The rest are just the icing on the cake.

>it has two games i've been hyped for by daddy 'tendo
>it's better than everything ever

Jesus Fucking Christ, you're a child.

he's not wrong, those 2 games alone make it better than the console launches he mentioned

dreamcast was better. even if you counted the original japanese launch of '98 it still had a better year than the switch

PS2's first year was a joke, especially the launch. Things didn't start to get good until after, which is where that infamous image of all those holiday titles comes from.

Dreamcast, you might have a point.

Basically, consoles have really hit a drop in recent years, Nintendo only had to put in some effort to outdo the competition, I hope next year keeps it up, so far there are 3 games I am going to buy for it next year.

>No Mario + Rabbids

>PS2 launch
>good

PS2 was literally "I'm buying this for DVD player/Metal Gear Solid NEXT YEAR/Final Fantasy X NEXT YEAR" the console

People bought PS2 for the promises it had, not for what it had at launch.

didn't nintendo release everything but the switch at the end of the year? it's hard to find a better year when the window is 1/5 the size

i bought that shit for Timesplitters, SSX, and Midnight Club.

When you say "launch year" you mean the first 12 months from launch, not launch until December.

leaps and bounds better than half the shit in OP's post

1996 probably

>dreamcast was bet

it was

Why is Pokken so underrated?
