Childhood is idolizing "Kill Trevor"

Childhood is idolizing "Kill Trevor"
Adulthood is realizing "Kill Michael" makes more sense.

Adulthood is realizing how shitty this game is.

Why would anyone chose anything but deathwish?

...

childhood is playing crap like GTA
adulthood is not playing crap like GTA

This. Its the only way you can kill the biggest douche in the game.

Adulthood is not playing videogames.

my compadre of African heritage

Adulthood is being a little more clever to post in this thread

But then I don't get to send off that asshole striped naked and barrelling off a cliff in the trunk of his car

fuck wrong image

t.kidult who still lives with mommy

>killing Michael
>any year

Adulthood is picking the option that actually lets you finish the post-game.

I never even has this choice presented to me. They all just killed everyone who wronged them and lived happily ever after.

Who else got bored with that game before they even got to that part?

>Get one of the protagonists killed
OR
>Kill every man who wronged you and live happily ever after

Why is this even a choice? Should be based on your performance in game.

Why would you kill them when you can save them both ?
Anyway story was fucking garbage

I kinda like how they called ending C Deathwish
It makes you think Franklins gonna die

I thought there was a way to save everybody?

Ending C

...

Everything but deathwish is forced as fuck and makes basically no sense.
>kill Trevor because he's a jerk
>kill Michael because
>leave everyone alive

i've never played gta5 before, is there more to the ending than just pressing a button? i'm getting human revolution flashbacks

You choose how you want to end it. Throughout the game there's this build up that there is going to be a standoff between Michael and Trevor and so you decide who you'll support. Or you go the fuck off approach which is death wish and convince the pair to work together to take on the guy fucking everyone over. Suicide Squad style.

t. someone who pretends to be the pinnacle of maturity but in reality is miles and miles and miles away

D: Kill Franklin made the most sense desu

This. No doubt deathwish is the canon ending. It's also the ending that's the most satisfying.

GTAV is the worst GTA

B-but it would be racist if you could kill the nigger

Bascially there are two sides that come to Franklin and ask him to kill either Trevor for one or Micheal for the other. Or there's the third option where you don't kill either of them and take on a suicide mission of fending off all sides or something. Definitely not like the push the button ending.

not an argument

you kill a nigger with a white man in deathwish

>do deathwish
>kill a guy playing basketball, a guy on an amusement park ride, and a dude in a limo
>afterwards in the post game if you drive around as michael and take trevor out for a friend activity they reconcile in a 5 minute car ride making A and B utter nonsense
>so many locations are not even used

the story was such an afterthought. another game ruined by cash shop greed.

>post yfw we only got to play as some gay ass busta called franklin instead of my nigga lamarr

>That part where each of the protagonists takes out another protagonist's antagonist

That was pure fucking kino.

>make so much money from the base game alone
>but nooooo, that's not enough, we gotta make mp a microtransaction fuckfest that leeches work away from sp

I didn't choose deathwish my first time cause I thought Franklin would die

Deathwish was the best ending because it felt so good to just get revenge on all those fucks.

Lamar is trash. GTA5 already had you taking care of 2 manbabies, why do you want to make it 3?

Fpbp.

Literally car simulator the game.

I chose to kill trevor cause his placement in the map felt annoying some times when you just wanted to fuck around in the city

whats the big deal about lamar? he's is ryder 2.0, even for rockstar that shit was lazy as fuck

Its forced because Franklin is under pressure to kill either of those two.

>Literally car simulator the game.
>play GTA
>not expecting it to be about driving cars

If anything, GTAV needed MORE car theft.

I don't get why anyone would choose to kill a player character.
I don't get why anyone wouldn't hunt down and kill Dimitri in GTA IV either. These choices they offer are stupid.

Excellent post

It was wrong though
Michael kills the guy who only has beef with Trevor and Franklin
Franklin kills the guy who only has beef with Michael and Trevor
But then Trevor kills the guy who has beef with all three of them, and the finale is the guy who only has beef with Franklin and Michael
Trevor should have killed Devin, and then they all should have gone to kill Haines together.

fpbp

Each character having their own car that they would never lose was a neat idea, but it really did take the grand theft auto out of grand theft auto.

The only reason I hunted him down was literally to keep getting free Taxis from Roman. Granted, I'm sure at that point they are chump change, but still.

>switch to Trevor
>he's in the middle of nowhere in his underwear
>*sigh*
>switch to Michael

Well Marrywhether was a thorn in Trevor's side the whole game. So you could say he had a beef with Haines too.

Both of the kill missions feel completely off, but Michael's even more so, doesn't make any sense from Franklin's point of view.

>It was wrong though
No it wasn't. They picked their targets for two reasons:

1. To have the element of surprise on their side. For example, Stretch never even met Michael. If Franklin came rolling down the street for Stretch, they would have sent an army of Ballas his way.

2. To seal their friendship with each other, they killed off the people who decided it was a good idea to fuck with their friends.

Read between the lines. It's kino af and confirmed the three as nakama.

I think people might choose Deal as it's more dramatic. People actually care about Roman, unlike Kate, and it makes it so the main villain is the final enemy, rather that Jimmy "Literally Who" Pegorino. But Revenge has no downsides because again, no one likes Kate.

Micheal's is the most bullshit because of that phone call he gets and he's like "damn, Tracy got into college." like really? Get outta here.

of course its not you retard, its a gif that mocks you

I like them having their own cars, because it was something that also suited their personalities.

The problem was that they didn't give you the option to have fun with stolen cars. Even with the new impound system, it's still incredibly easy to lose cars. And on top of that, your garage space was severely limited.

I also don't know why each character only has one safehouse.

I know right? No way that dumb slut got into college.

Kate also doesn't have a buddy ability associated with her, unless you really care about going on dates.

Who would you say is the more the "main" protagonist? Michael or Franklin? The game seems to focus on Franklin more and he makes the ending choice, but at the same time it's Michael's actions that drive the whole plot up to that point.

There's nothing in the game to suggest Tracey was "too dumb" for college. Not that there even is such a thing.

Franklin is the main protagonist, but the story that we see is not his. He's a surrogate character for the player.

It actually works really well, because since he's young and (relatively) new to the life of crime, he sees a potential outcome for his life.

You're looking at this from a pragmatic view with outside knowledge of the outcome.
For first time players, They're offered $250,000 (with nothing to spend it on) if they work with a guy they know is going to stab them in the back again, or an opportunity to get the jump on him and kill him first.
It's a no-brainer.

this. his children are just too lazy due to the shitty parenting and wealthy life

Michael. Most of the game Franklin just functions as some guy Michael can call if he needs a driver, and the rest of the time is Franklin shooting niggers while Lamar and everyone he knows tell him he's being a bitch by trying to not make his life revolve around acting like a nigger. In the end it feels like the only reason they added him to the story was just to start the plot, then realized that he hadn't done jack shit all game so they tried to make him important for the ending. He also had the lamest special.

I'm glad kill Franklin wasn't a choice. He's such a likable character

>He also had the lamest special.

Motherfucker you best be joking. Bullet time driving is the best ability in a Grand Theft AUTO game. If anything, Michael's bullet time is worthless, particularly on PC.

Franklin is my favorite character in GTAV.

Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but you could get the same effect by pulling up the radio screen and driving, since pulling up the radio slows down time. You can also do it in planes and shit, while Franklin's special only works for cars.

Franklin is a ye ye ass nigga.

C

Nope, completely different things. Pulling up the radio slows down everything, even your reactions. Franklin's ability allows full control over the vehicle while using it, just like bullet time. In fact, it's incredibly useful because it makes shooting cops/wheels incredibly easy.

Plotwise I agree with you.

Franklins special though; It fixed the age-old GTA problem where moving incredibly fast through the city was fun for twelve seconds until you clip another car by an inch and either die on impact or have to scrap your car for another one because it's on fire.

Increasing the vehicle handling and slowing time made moving at high speeds viable, and at points, really fun

Kill the nigger

Did you know that activating the slow-mo and deactivating the slow-mo makes your car go REALLY FUCKING FAST? Doing that on PC is legitimately the fastest I've ever driven in a GTA game.

I did notice this. It seemed to escape me for the longest time, as Franklin regularly started in his house and driving down the hills into the city more or less required me to use his special. I assumed the speed came from holding W the entire time. It wasn't until I just kept tapping the special on and off out of boredom that I noticed the special makes you go zoom zoom rocketship

>kill Michael
>Before you kill him he tells you that things in his home are getting better
Fuck man

I originally picked Deathwish because I thought Franklin would be killed

Actually, its when you turn it on that it gives you more acceleration and a higher top speed.
When you turn it off, you level off to normal levels of top speed.

What I really disliked about driving in GTAV was the lack of fucking nitrous. I want to go stupid fast and its also really cool.

They should of made death wish either impossible, or not in the game.
People should be forced to make difficult choices in games.

did i miss something? I only hot the ending where the tree drive that car saleman cunt into the ocean

"Deathwish' is taking back control of your life and telling everyone else that want to control you to fuck off.

>when the choice is so painfully one-sided you don't even remember there are other choices

But franklin a GOOD BOY! He DINDU NUTTIN!

That's the only ending GTAV has, senpai(ily).

>kill some faggot you just met who wont pay you for the jobs you did for him
>kill friend who got you out of the shit hole ghetto and made you billions of dollars which is exactly what you wanted

Really making me think with these moral dilemmas, Rockstar

>spend the whole game killing people
>worry about a couple of people
>the trio of killers realise they can just kill them

ending would've been infinitely better if deathwish wasn't an option, would've made franklin being playable actually matter

I think that we can all agree the kill michael ending is fucking retarded and makes no sense at all.
>deathwish is the happy ending
>kill trevor is the evil but in good intentions ending
what the fuck is the motivation for killing michael?

It didn't even feel like that much of a challenge

They should have made deathwish actually be really difficult to pull off and have an alternate ending when you fuck up, otherwise its just like shit why didnt we do this at the beginning.

Probably something like karma for betraying trevor in the first place

did anyone in this thread NOT pick C?

i mean obviously

>The dam isnt used at all
>The prison isnt used at all
>That big under construction highrise isnt used at all
I dont think the military base was used at all either

Yeah if you are a guide reading retard

Deathwish doesn't imply happy ending
