unist pc release when
uniel pc lobby where
actually, I was just playing some with a friend and forgot to set the room size down and a random joined, I'm green and they're both yellow and we played for like an hour, was fun times
I ended up winning most but for some reason cannot rankup. The random guy was consumed by the unga, constantly wakeup EX command grabbing on gord or just wakeup grabbing in general, and if it wasn't wakeup grab it was wakeup mash, I ended up just 2c 5c 6c 214b dashing 4 times in a row because he just never blocked
he was pretty good at his unga though, nailed a lot of punishes (though it would be hard not to with how much he was attacking) and beat us a few times
the second I picked nana and did tk236b his entire plan crumbled though
fun times
Room: vidya
Pass: vee
Just when I was about to say I ran into a bunch of people who were asking if the people left behind with UNIEL still had lobbies on PC or not. Glad you had some matches.
Goddamn these same-side switch combos
Please be kind to me. I only just woke up like 30 min ago.
Seth is still my least threatening character. Linne doesn't count.
That's incorrect. I'm way more afraid of your Chaos and Linne.
> being able to play more than one character
I wish
You can't increase your square color unless you fight people of the same color as you, so that's why you didn't rank up
I just noticed that Mika's back is totally bare in that color. How did they get away with that?
The same way they get away with Wagner's spat-tanlines
I think it was different in UNIEL, not sure though
Begone, you've all been corralled into /blaz/ now. now either return wince you came or claim your spot on /vg/ like /ggg/ did.
Go away
I'm definitely sure I can't go DOWN in rank against higher ranks but can I really not get higher up beating better players?
Getting to a level where I could play Seth competently was a long-time goal. UNIEL's Seth had paper thin health and tougher combo routes so this was my chance to finally git gud.
So that means Seth is the least of your worries
I'm pretty sure they just copied the way it worked in BBCP
Back to >>>/dng/ Zarc
Almost 100% positive you won't get anywhere unless it's against people of the same color, no matter how many oranges and pinks you beat you'll still be green. Some people even intentionally their first matches so they can get a blue or light blue square when they're much better than that
>corralled into /blaz/
>/blaz/ is barren as shit that they have image spam to keep themselves afloat
I think I found the ultimate defense against Merk and a way to farm unlimited exs.
It's funny because the image spam tends to be within 5 minutes of the last post, so he's not really helping keep it bumped, just pushing it closer to image limit.
Remember that holding down concentrate/shield costs EXS so time it properly instead of holding it down
Gotta spend money to make money
>tfw you j[C]
Not when you could spend nothing to gain everything
Why even keep a general at that point? The newest patch and Jubei is probably the last thing that could have cultivated discussion. If general threads can barely last until a lobby is made, should it even be a general at all?
It's probably better if I waste my meter anyway. I never use it.
this game has simple inputs but I don't see anyone complaining about it
I don't understand fighting game players
Simple inputs? You mean the auto combo that does nothing?
motions
Its getting close
Yes the game has quarter circles, half circles and I think full circles.
It's very simple, and a good chunk of characters have follow-ups that used to be the input repeated again but now they simplified it to just holding a direction. The more complicated ones aside from the resident charge character have a SHITTON of inputs, delays, and high levels of execution. Even then, it's still a relative simple game but with really costly defensive options with no burst so it forces you to either get smart blocking or die quick.
Every character has nearly the same inputs. Only a handful of characters like Seth and Carmine have their command grabs while Wald has the full circle.
I don't think It's possible to block merk
you ain't seen nothing if you think merk is hard to block
He already too difficult to keep track of already
He's tough but nothing compared to being literally unblockable

Time for my revenge
Aayy, Enkidufag made it early
I just don't think Yuzu has a way to get in when he's just throwing arms
>twitter.com
is that real? Is there actually no no reversal option for that?
You can Guard Thrust it, the Seth in question needs Vorpal to do this
I mean is there no meter less defense option against it?
Not sure if the guy tried this against characters with fully invincible DPs so I'm not sure. Enkidu doesn't have any of that without meter
well that's shitty. Doubt it'll get patched either.
Yo did you fucking see that? I didn't know you could actually run past it.
It works a lot less than you'd think. One of the pro using this tech did a first to 10 with Oshuhitto, the best Seth in the business who still used tried and true tactics to come out on top
youtube.com
why would they patch something that isn't new and isn't unintentional
So it's not consistent across the cast or something? if its unblockable there's no reason no to lol
It's highly dependent on the corner, having Vorpal, having a full bar, and having the opponent not be able to respond in any matter, be it DPs or Guard Thrusts
... this is intentional? the devs intentionally put this in the game?
Here's hoping that literal piece of shit isn't in the crossover
seth j214b is literally the only throw in the entire game that can hit an opponent in block stun without being techable and i think orb unblockables are shown off in the uniel official character guide
If there's any character that wouldn't mind seeing dominate the crossover, I'd love it for it to be from the UNI side
Shitty Wagner reporting in for a little while. I'm a little shaky right now, just got done playing Tekken 7 for a couple hours.
I think this was lost in the middle of a conversation, but I think you pulled off "that" combo, Yuzufag.
...
Take these for future reference

Nope, Still haven't done it
It's supposed to be dash c, 236a, 6c, 214, dash b into 236abc into 236a+d
where can I get the portraits and such> I can only find sprites
They've simplified a few of the moves, like Orie's stand follow up is just 4x now whereas before you'd have to rekka it which I still do because habit. Nothing like 22x to throw out a dp or anything, just some stuff has been streamlined.
If you mean how everything is almost universal, it's something that carried over from Melty I guess. You know everyone has a fireball, you know everyone has a dp, force function is universal, etc. It's just a matter of remembering what is associated with who. Very few characters have half circles/360s.
The wikia has them, but not for every character yet.
>Still make the mistake of inputting a half circle super when I just wanted an EX fireball
Gord is so much easier to deal with than Enki
>Dodging the first swing of Grim Reaper
Jesus
Mr. Gordeau's Helicopter Ride

It was unintentional I promise you.
Didn't make it any less awesome to see it happen and nullify the second swing.
Anyone know where I can find that one lewd Wagner tapestry?
IS THAT
Nips sure love not scanning these things.
Where would I go to try and get my hands on one of these?
The next match will be my last. ggs in advance.
And as always, fuck hyde.
It was a preorder bonus from one of the shops.
I played this game today during break time at work and it was pretty fun. What the fuck does anything do? I played Yuzuriha because I looked at the roster and thought she looked the coolest and then I had no idea what her playstyle was or how I should play her.
And then I played Orie who I could understand a bit more, but still had no idea what the fuck was happening. Teach me your secrets and beginner MLG pro tips and tricks, please.
Hold down D after doing a sword slash and you'll enter a stance that lets you do move faster and dodge, but you're super slow(unless dashing) and can't do your normals.
Oh. I guess there's no way to buy it then.
>Played Yuzuriha
You picked one of the toughest characters to play well with first. Orie is considerably easier and she's based on fast pokes and knockdowns.
The mini-objective to the game is to win the little tug of war going on in the botom-middle of the screen. You got your GrD bar that fills with blocks when someone gets on the offensive, blocks well, or reacts to throws. If you have more blocks than the other player when the circle makes a full rotation, you enter a state called Vorpal that gives you a 10% damage buff, a character specific buff, and the ability to cancel.
I'm sure someone has thrown it up on ebay or yahoo
Nip auctions on Ebay or Yahoo Auctions might yield some results. I can only hope they allow stuff like this to be in the western localization pre-order bonuses
I highly doubt it. What sort of CE stuff has Aksys put out before?
What would I out in the search bar to try and find an auction for one of these? I would be willing to put some money down for thw Wagner tapestry.
Just try entering the title of the game in japanese, there's only been two releases to the series so you'll probably find something like OSTs and such
>I played this game today during break time at work
Where do you even work at to play an obscure japanese anime fighter that isn't even out in the states?
Someone brought it in to work. We have game consoles, and people bring in games to play together during break.
Huh, that's pretty cool. Must be nice.
Is the new version already released? Or what the hell are you playing then??
Ggs guys. Im done for the night, I need to sleep for work tomorrow. I feel like I've gotten better. Fun as always
Yes, but only in Japan. Most of us got it through PSN downloads
Watch those videos I linked. You'll get better yet.
That was some sexy high speed movement
When do you think UNI will get its quintessential fighting game character trope, the kung-fu chinese girl?
Akatsuki is close enough
Opps for
China dress or bust
Finally did the Seth combo I wanted to do. That's 3 BnBs down
Good games, still can't do my bnb though,
You're still definitely improving with how slippery you're getting as well as the conversions you've been pulling off. Good shit.
I feel like I need to get a Hitbox style controller. I could probably dash on 2p if I could go back to a keyboard layout and not use a stick.
